finally got a chance to stop by UPS/FedEx after coming back from vacation and I gotta say I'm impressed with my pairs.
pretty interesting seeing people on fb groups saying they're returning the cali high's because they look better as lows. but how come that wasn't the case with the tiff's because those look much better as lows... or is it cause they're not as hyped? idk.
and if this pigeon high rumor is true, I'm down for a pair. no way I'm spending the ridiculous amount the lows are going for.

IMO People returning the Cali highs because they aren't as hyped. If people had all this honor about not copping them because they're staying true to the Lows, they never would've copped the highs in the first place.

Pretty sure before any kicks leave nike factories there's a special employee whose only job is to spray shoes with glue at random. When I went to cop my Cali's from my local spot ($140 :hellnaw ) I had the guy take out 3 boxes all size 10 and looked thru all of them for a left and a right with the fewest amount of defects. Sucks I have to do that.

People returning Cali highs has to do with them not being HYPED. Can't be due to quality unless it was their own pair being defective. Let the hypes beast. It only means I'll be able to double, triple up on the low. Leather is fantastic, suede panel is OK but still better than most.

yeah, I agree. no hype or money to be made after wearing them 1-2 x's = send back. then again, I didn't pay full retail so that could also be a reason why I'm fine with my purchase.

I do understand in a way. We are in the day where you gotta be fast on your purchase. Some sell fast some sit. So returning them in hopes of getting them cheaper later is actually Nike fault as well. People afraid everything will sell out in seconds. It's been going on for a while now so it makes sense if that's the case with returns.

At least they gave you the opportunity to 'swap' out shoes. They would of laughed in my face if I tried it over here.
Yup I'll double up for below retail as well. Until then I'm eyeballing the Five One's and Tie dye to drop in peace.

lol my phone order QS's i placed 2 days ago came in faster than the IDboardshop.com's. Tracking still says that shipping label has been created via usps.

Interesting discussion on Cali Hi's and how they're either sitting or being returned. I'll give my 2¢ after work.
i think a lot of the people here returning them is because they got them free ship + no tax + disco and would rather return the pairs they were taxed on.

I like the cali highs the brown suede on mine are not soft kinda sucks but the leather is nice and soft I can't ly I like the leather
