I placed an order on Friday before noon. Got the cancellation email 2 hours later. Also got a response to my email earlier in the day about how to complete my order w/o Paypal.

just venting, but it drives me nuts when people put a reserve on a sneaker. Either start the bidding at that price point or use a set price.

I think people were more interested in the resale price than the actual shoe.

I wanted them because I think they look amazing (in pictures at least)....but it was retail or bust. Needless to say I took the loss. I'm hoping one of these stores get a shipment later on. I doubt people are gonna buy them for 300+ tho...

I looked at eBay and $500 is about the rate

Fools and their money. Although I guess you could say that about half the stuff in my closets, but honestly that Lunar 90 seems super gimmicky and unless you're a super space geek, seems super hard to wear out in public.

They are an awesome shoe and huge upgrade over the last few models

If you skate they are easily worth the price; if you want for casual use still worth it but wait for a discount

Maybe gimmicky, but if I could find a pair for retail, I'd cop (athough AM90s are high on my personal favorites list). The printed lining and graphic printed on 3M are things you don't see that often. Plus, releasing on the day of the landing is pretty... but I guess i might fall into the history nerd category.

I agree I thought it was cool too especially with the 3m and detailing we're all dope. It sucks how much hype this release got tho because if I had the chance to cop I would've

Yeah I guess, at retail my feelings on the shoe would probably change considerably, but you know the people buying them for 500 don't give a damn about the Space Program. If they really wanted to be quirky about it they should have released it at the time LM-5 touched down on the moon or even better later tonight which would mark the time Armstrong took his first step on the moon's surface.
