The next dodgers owners are gonna be salty about paying 64m a year to a guy in a retirement home.
Not if they generate billions in revenue living in the past similar to the Yankees or Cowboys.

I honestly think that’s the long term play of this ownership. Hopefully win 2-3 titles then sell the team at the peak. All the diverted money is the next guys problem.
It’s a group of investors. I don’t think they care about owning the team, they care about money.

just seen that the Mets are gonna be paying Scherzer, Verlander and Bobby Bonilla $43.5 million this yr. nevermind Cohen's now ready to give Soto anything, would be $100 mil + in 4 guys, 3 not on the team . Cohen's gonna be riding a Citi bike to the stadium for a lil while

i thought when he retired with the Yanks he was older. i read he left back to Japan because during Covid he was dealing with anti Asian racism. could only imagine what was being said to him in the good ol USA ....
