While true, curry averaged 27-6-5.Starting Iggy was the adjustment that turned the series in golden states favor.
Quite a few were saying this though. At least until his first NBA game.NOPE. This was not a consensus thing AT ALL
Is it really that hard to refrain from crowning until the player starts going south in numbers? Luka could put up phenomenal numbers the next 10 years, and only get back to the WCF 1 more time. If that ends up being the case, we putting him above Dirk?luka has had the best start to a career since Bron. If we can’t crown him than nobody should ever be crowned until they hit 30 lol.
Oh, Jerry.
For the record, I'm not saying Jerry is wrong. He can't be, because we don't know what will happen. I just personally hate when we christen people WEEEEELLLLL before their career is over.
Dirk is in the conversation of (and possibly THE) GOAT Euro. Let's let Luka have a career before we start knocking GOATs down.

This a good one lolDirk NotHIMski
Oh it wasn't true for me, and I hated hearing it. But beginning at UCLA, it seems like I was arguing at everyone and their mom about how he's not Kidd.NOPE. This was not a consensus thing AT ALL
People say dumb **** all the time. His best case comp was the older version of J Kidd.Quite a few were saying this though. At least until his first NBA game.
Lonzo was the next Kidd, everybody was SURE.
NOPE. This was not a consensus thing AT ALL

By this concept, Looney is more important than curry this series and he's averaging 12-10 and curry averaging 29 -7-5.
Looney gotta be the front runner for WCFMVP
Yo sometimes people say things in the present day in this thread and in my mind I am thinking "Bro...no one ever said that" because it sounds so crazy but then I dig in my pockets for receipts and sho nuff....
He has time but dacomeup this was widely held belief

Crown him. Bro special. I get that. Why wait until 2030 to crown Luka when it’s already obvious that boy is SPECIAL.
The only thing we want to see changed is getting rid of C for All NBA and just make it frontcourt and backcourtI can’t get too hung up in compiling about how the regular season awards play out. Any awards/accolades that are decided by the votes of humans and involve some level of subjectivity are going to be sometimes inconsistent and occasionally produce head-scratching results. Works well enough most of the time.
I’d rather keep the awards system the way it is than have everything decided by computer algorithms based on advanced stats, a feeling that has only been strengthened by the discourse around Shot Quality Scoring in the GSW-Mavs series.
But you said replace Iggy with Shaun and the results are the same. What exactly is that based on?
We just going to act like Iggy wasn't 1st team all NBA Defense the year prior as a starter for GS?
