Oakland really scuffling. This is what I expected out of them last season
But after last year and the first three + months of this season I thought they really were head shoulders above the rest of the AL. Glad to see them playing like **** while knowing they mortgages their future at the trade deadline

Our pitxhing has held up much better than I thought. Hopefully trout can continue to hit how we knew he can.

was just thinking the same thing the other day. he's not the typical stolen base threat at the top of the order like other scioscia teams had, but he's been a beast at the leadoff spot

We haven't had a late-in-the-season push like this in a MINUTE.

We've had plenty of end-of-season collapses, though (I'm looking at you, 1995).

Seems like we turned it around QUICK, like we were a game behind chOakland just yesterday. But now?

Def agree on those Calhoun thoughts. To get so far, 14 HR from you leadoff spot is crazy!

In the Playoffs I think we gotta roll with Weaver, Shoemaker, Wilson, Santiago as the rotation.
Shoe's a rook so it'll do him a little better to pitch at home during the playoffs and we gotta hope Wilson steps up on the road.

We got about two more weeks but we should be officially in soon!
