2021 ANGELS SEASON THREAD

Hopefully it'll do him some good... At least we are in first place! (By .002% lol )

1st place. :hat

Meeting with my homie from up north after the game on the 30th. I hope we can create some type of separation in the coming weeks
Hamilton sits again.

Him and Trout this past month and a half :x :{
Pujols, Hamilton, Trout, & Freese... but Calhoun has been the hot bat for us.

(non-Angels fans) "Who?!"

Exactly. :lol
1st place. :hat

I hope we can create some type of separation in the coming weeks
The Lakers fan in me is cynical.

If we can somehow still make the playoffs our rotation is going to be horrible.

Hope I'm wrong.

Alden Gonzalez @Alden_Gonzalez ·
Garrett Richards has a torn patella tendon in left knee. 6-9 month recovery. Surgery next week. #Angels

First Skaggs now Grich :(

Yeah Weav and CJ are not the same pitchers.

Hector and Shoemaker will be a big ? in postseason IF we hold on and get a spot.

Im still confident though with our bullpen.

Shame about Richards, guys. Turning a corner at 26, on the cusp of something special. Limiting hits and avoiding the long-ball this season.

Probably to add depth to the Infield.

Mcdonald is a good defender but cant hit and Green is still hurt.

Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports that the Mets have placed starter Bartolo Colon on revocable waivers. The right-hander is under contract for the 2015 season, making $11 million, something any interested team will have to take into consideration.

Rosenthal takes care to mention the Angels, who have baseball’s best record. They would be interested in acquiring Colon, having lost Garrett Richards to a season-ending knee injury, but 28 other teams would have to pass before the Angels would get a chance to put in a claim given that the have baseball’s best record.

Colon, 41, is 11-10 with a 3.85 ERA and a 125/21 K/BB ratio in 161 1/3 innings across 24 starts this season.

2 hits in 11 at bats although those two hits were today (including a HR) so maybe that's a good sign. I've been really impressed with his defense though!. I wouldn't mind starting him over Freese the rest of the year to be honest. I'd take .250 with 0 errors the rest of the season.

still concerned with our rotation though. even though we won yesterday, i didn't like the idea of having to pitch 8 guys

I'm not a BIG baseball fan (
