it’s 2021.. we have a QB that could legit be a RB

i think there are passing plays that are glorified running plays.. but you force the defense to have to account for a multitude of things on a given play (russ is great at this.. Rodgers also killed teams with this)

there was a lot of bad and that was 1 of them.. but having a young coach, should have us very open to things that all offenses should have in 2021 (motion, no huddle, varying tempos and multiple pass catching RBs & TEs)

I get that, but Sanders had 2 carries and averaged 13.5 per carry. You have a young QB in his 7th career game who was getting picked apart by Dallas's defense. His game plan did Hurts no favors and your coach made zero adjustments and that was something he preached in his intro press conference.

i agree, you list multiple things that were also problems.. there were a lot of concerning things

but for me given our 3 best WRs (small and fast), our 2 tes (athletic pass catchers) and our 3 rbs (all pass catchers) I have zero clue how we don’t have a crap ton of presnap motion.. seems obvious beyond smart teams doing it

our rbs should be getting actual routes (sanders was our best WR his rookie year after injuries).. reagor should be getting carries and being used out of the backfield and on those RPOs, just to add wrinkles




like for me, we should be able to use some old school stuff but flip it.. go to 13 personnel and spread things out.. use split back stuff and spread things out.. Have multiple rushing options out of 11

A dynasty run in todays NFL would be nearly impossible. You would have to have every break go your way, stay healthy and navigate an ever changing salary cap.

I like the Gordon signing because he is a bigger WR compared to all the other guys that KC has. Now will it pan out I'm not sure. I seriously doubt that Flash can shake his demons to stay long enough to make an impact but for his and my teams sake I hope I'm wrong.

I don't believe anything is 'wrong' per say with the Chiefs other than they are turning the ball over and the 'break's and bounces they have been use to getting for the last two years aren't going there way right now. Obviously the defense is or has been mostly trash for awhile now and offensively Mahomes is still trying to get use to an entire new starting offensive line that has three rookies. You pair that with the schedule they had to start I am in no way surprised at there record. You knew that eventually between Bake, Lamar, Herbert and soon Allen all of those QBs would get their first W.
