I was worried he’d get Jerami Grant money so this is a great deal with that in mind.

A lot of people, myself included, thought he'd get at least 80 after Isaac's deal got announced

It's a great deal for the Raps in this market that's only gonna age well after this season where I expect him to break out.

The Hawks are going to be a very expensive 6-8 seed for the next couple of years. The only way the Hawks make a big leap is if Trae Young makes a leap into true superstardom. One of the good things about the current NBA contract structure is that none of these deals are crazy long. It's not like the old days where you could sign six or seven year deals that would cripple your team for a decade.

They also are going to ruin a ton of young talent and possibly lose them and be in the same position they were in a couple of seasons ago.

I fully expect him to be in the MIP convo if his offensive game keeps progressing. He’ll likely be playing some small ball 5 this year as well.

He’s going to play the 4 this year and played that last year. I think he’s best suited for the 5 but we will see.
