Every person who actually has(not had, as in going off memory) says the 2014 Infrared is The closest. @scollard23 on Instagram has pictures, and his pair doesn’t seem to have discoloration due to age.

For me to cop these they'd have to make them exactly the same way as the original 1991s. Materials, shape, NA and white clear sole. True OG durabuck, not even that 2000 nubuck, which imo was pretty dull.

My top 3 sneaker of all time. Only second to the air Jordan 3 Black cement. I’ve had every retro since 2000. Everyone of them even doubles.. beat to shreds. It’s tradition. I must MUST have these. Just doubled up on the black cements and these will be the same. Love this shoe. Can’t wait. Bred 4s are now a April release I’m hearing

To me, the nike air is a bit overrated on this pair and the white infrared as well do to it being the same color as the upper. If they are doing a nike air 6, I would prefer the carmines myself. That being said I'll still get a pair.

It’s odd, but you’re right. From my observation, The Nike Air seems to generally matter most for this pair. Maybe that’s because they’ve released so many times without it. This shoe has been JBs ace in the hole. If they want to make a quick buck, they drop these. Just like the Bred 1 and Blk Cement 3
