Because the word “tortured” implies not even a sliver of success has occurred for decades.

I can say it’s been tough for the Niners for that past couple years but I can’t pout and stomp my feet like it’s been torture. Going to a Super Bowl within the past decade and having a chalk full of HOFers and 5 chips is success.

Composing a list like that needs longitudinal consideration.

Kinda on the point of POE, I don't know to what extent he was joking, but Zimmer said he was going to be challenge happy in throwing that flag out there on non-PI calls, just to see how the review process with those truly work. I don't blame him...but this **** could get real dumb, real quick.

They probably renege on it just like they did with that landing on the QB/roughing BS from last season, but still...those in charge are not upholding the standard of what the NFL should be.
