We did have some terrible drops this year including some that lead to picks that weren't the QB's fault. But he is saying Sarks offense scored the same number of points as 4 of the last 5 seasons....lets look at who are OC's where and add some context to those 4 out of 5 seasons and how the offense looked. 3 years of Dirk Koetter in that timespan. One great 2012 season offense decent but like it could do more. Next season after that was terrible we finished 4-12 and looked like we had a lack of ideas in critical moments (bad defense didn't help either). Next year we Finish 6-10 another terrible year and felt like the squad wasn't getting better theres a reason some Falcons fans where happy to see Koetter move on to the Bucs to try something new as well as Mike Smith. That takes us to Kyles first year the 4th and final year hes talking about and that year was god damn terrible with Kyle and Matt buttin head on the sidelines and Kyle calling plays just to try prove a point to the criticism he received at the time because of his ego.
So his defense of Sark is saying "hey he was just as good as one great year on offense, one offense restricted by timid play calling at times, one regressing year and one terrible year" not really glowing when context is added to it and anyone with two eyes who watched us this year can look and see just cause its the same PPG does not speak to the entire performance and effectiveness of the scheme has dropped
