Is there anyone in the pipeline at 1B, i wonder if Bird doesnt get it together if maybe he can be moved and have Castro Play 1st to keep him on the team and Have Torres, Didi and Machado on the field.

I do as well, the time he was filling in for Tex, he was great, i was already looking forward to having him take over first then the injury happend. The only reason thats even a thought in my mind is because of Castro, with Torres on the way and the plan for Machado there isnt really room for him. Sure he can DH but it would suck if keeping him requires a long term high money contract just to have him DH being that he will only be 32 at the end of his current deal.
