GRODT is such a hard album. One of my all time favorites. That coin drop and then What Up Gangsta hits. My goodness. The hype around that album when it released was the craziest I've ever seen. Every car I seen was playing that ****. I couldn't believe how big it was. I owe you a rep Flash

plus ending ja rule's career and basically all of murder inc..

for me, the rest of 50s stuff was crap.. but that album took over everything at that time.. and dude launched a whole bunch of shht just off of it

Pink Floyd: Wish you where here (1975)

 

One of my personal favorites. When it comes to Pink Floyd's work most people go with The Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall but IMO Wish You Where Here is by far their best album.

Only five tracks and every single one is perfect I never skip any of them.

But the most notable song(s) is Shine on You Crazy Diamond parts 1-9.  First track of the album starts with pts.1-5 (13:31) and the album ends with pts. 6-9 (12:27)



I never get tired of this album.

I was going try to not go rap/hip hop.. but my 2 favorite albums are still on the board.. and I got a couple I figured I would make an exception on depending on that time in the draft

One of my favorite albums of all time and a complete game changer at the time. Brought alternative/grunge to the forefront and pretty much ended the "hair rock" of the 80s.

So many great songs... On a Plain, Polly, Breed, In Bloom...
