imagine if pop had jordan, who's really going step out of line on THAT team?


also cant imagine pop making the situation worse between kobe and shaq, like phil did with always running to the media making lil remarks or thinking he's giving subtle hints by giving kobe leadership books

Would Kobe have been any better than he was if he was coached by Pop?

Pop would have been gone like Del Harris (remember he was a rookie coach in 97). My point was in addition to having role players that are difficult to manage (Rodman/SJax/Artest) having to deal with MJ, Shaq, and Kobe as opposed to Duncan and Robinson and even now with Kawhi is a totally different thing.
 
I think shaq is the only player pop would have had a problem dealing with.. and that's because I think shaq is just lazy

but pop dealt with diaw, who also seemed to have that in him
