The organization renewed the Bullets trademark in 2013. Since the federal trademark registrations have been maintained and renewed, the team continues to use the Bullets mark in commerce and, from a trademark standpoint, there should be nothing impeding a name change.
They wore the Bullets jerseys and even replaced the logos and name for one night last season. All the TV graphics read Bullets. Still no indication that a change is coming.
