KDs 2017 Finals games 1-4 shooting stats:

Game 1: 14-26 from the floor, 3-6 from three, 38 points

Game 2: 13-22 from the floor, 4-8 from three, 33 points

Game 3: 10-18 from the floor, 4-7 from three, 31 points

Game 4:  9-22 from the floor, 2-9 from three, 35 points

Right now he is shooting 54% from the field and 38% from three.

Pulling his closeout stats from last year is incredibly misleading because it discounts 2 things.  One, how much better the Warriors are on D than the Cavs, and two, the impact that Steph and Klay have on spacing and lack of double teams.
Its all about closing out right now, and they have an issue closing out teams that can sustain their pace for 48min.

Look at KDs game 4 stats, AWFUL. 15 of those 35pts came from the charity stripe.

After all he shot 16 free throws on the road, in the defending champions arena.

Dude gets plenty of love from the refs.

anyone in denial that regardless of shots falling or not, the refs calls influence the game, needs to stop lending opinions here :lol

Naa I'm good...

Officiating was trash for both sides and the Dubs even ended up shooting more FT's by the end but don't mind me,won't stop you from pushing that agenda :lol

Whether rings or stats is the conversation, Lebron hardly gets any credit. Hecklers come out the woodworks whether he wins or loses.

Are they MJ fans? Kobe fans? They can't be fans of the game, because something doesn't add up...

Lebrons stats don't mattter and are "empty" when he looses yet they point out how many points KD scored even though he loss.

We know KD and Lebron will show up, so victories in each of these games will depend on which role player steps up with a big game. Will it be JR, Curry, Love, Klay?

btw, this is tangentially related... I was looking at the percent of a team's assists that a single player gets:

Wall: 10.7/23.9 = 45%
Harden: 11.2/25.2 = 44%
Westbrook: 10.4/21.0 = 50%
Lebron: 8.7/22.7 = 38%
Draymond: 7.0/30.4 = 23%
Curry: 6.6/30.4 = 22%

Of course, before people start nitpicking, this doesn't account for minutes played, % of time the person has the ball, the offensive system employed by each team, etc etc etc etc, so save your breath. Just thought it was interesting.

Wait, we are talking about the same Lebron who is constantly compared to Jordan?

You legit have talking heads saying Lebron should be MVP of the finals even if they lose 4-1.

That's just complete nonsense, talking heads just seem to say stuff for shock value these days.

Absolutely.  I'll give Lebron his fair share.  I hate the dude, but I think he will go down as the second best player of all time which is absolutely no knock on him, but to say he never gets any credit is completely ridiculous.

Everyone is so quick to try and put him in front of Jordan so obviously there are going to be people out there who nitpick his game.  Some of it is legit, some of it is not.  Lebron is a stud, there is no changing that.

Does anyone know the payout if you bet $100 on the Cavs to win the series right now?
It's better to do each game individually instead of the serious

+1300 for the series vs +2500 to win each game individually.

Curry did ruin games at my gym though

Agreed.  Everytime I play with or against a high school kid who pulls up from 35 feet out and barely hits rim or airballs I want to punch him in the ******* face.

That is compounded by the fact that dudes at my gym play by all ones so the shot is even worse.

This is over tomorrow.

Lacob just wanted to cut that $22 million L in half.

Last year game 5 kevin love scored 2 points [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]. I expect kyle to show up for once. Klay and steph are slowing sinking the ship. Iguadala is scared to hold the ball he has been left open for most of game 4 and defered the ball.

Ruining the game? [emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji][emoji]128580[/emoji]
Yeah look at that Ball kid. Comes down does a couple of crossovers, 3 or 4 useless head fakes and jacks a deep 3.

Now imagine whats happening at every park and recreation center in suburban America

Bron ruined the NBA. Steph may be 'ruining' basketball as a whole. We'll have to see how many LaMelo's actually make it to the league though.
