regardless of how good or bad that game was officiated, the Cavs were winning that game with the shots they were hitting.  Props to them for hitting tough shots.
One thing I did notice when the warriors would come close or on the verge of making a run a lot of the calls went against them killing their run

Durants been the best player on the floor
Hell naw i am a warrior fan and even bet on the warriors and I can clearly say you are wrong .. it's lebron James.. stats don't lie and you can tell how important he is to the team when he sits

No. Dont let him putting the team on his back on the way to one victory out of 4 fool you.

You really gonna tell us hes the best player on the court when he takes turns either disappearing in the third or fourth?

lets be realistic here though.  The botched ejection of Draymond was possibly the worst example of terrible officiating I have ever seen and that highly benefited the warriors.  Draymond's dumb *** just needs to learn how to tone it the **** down.
But they couldnt justify giving him that tech when he was walking away from the official.

Steve Kerr sprinted toward the official in a very demonstrative way, so he deserved the tech not Draymond.

I realize this year's GSW team is better than last year's team, but we were hearing the exact same arguments last year about how the Warriors were the superior team and the Cavs were a bunch of pretenders who needed to get lucky to steal a game.

Let's just play the game and see who comes out on top. Otherwise there is no point to any of the NBA season.

On average GSW is better. But both teams are full of streaky players. Just like JR and Love can go 1-7 one game and then 6-8 the next, Curry and Klay do that too. Throw in momentum and other unknowns, and none of this is a foregone conclusion.

edit: Both KD and Lebron have been great. I think Lebron's absence is felt more than KD's though, so with that very simple metric he's more "valuable." But barring any miracle (like it goes to game 7 on 3 straight 50/15/15 performances by Lebron, KD goes ghost, and the rest of GSW steps up in game 7), the MVP will go to KD or Lebron based on which team wins the title.

realistically tons of stuff had to fall into place for that to happen.  Draymond suspension, Iggy and Bogut injuries, Kyrie hitting an amazing clutch shot.  There is a reason why teams rarely come back from 3-1.  Add in the fact that the Warriors replaced a guy who went 5-38 for the last three games of that series with the second best player in the league and its kind of hard to say look at what happened last year.  The Cavs scored 140 points in a damn finals game and had a tough time pulling away from the Warriors on Friday.

Well let's see how this plays out .. he doesn't disappear he likes to get other people involved.. he knows he can't win on his own with double and triple teams coming his way

Went to a few different spots in Europe 2 years ago. Nobody cares much about basketball there. You have basketball fans and NBA fans obviously like every other country, but nobody since MJ has come remotely close in terms of global reach. MJ had people all the way down in New Zealand knowing who he was back in the 80s/90s. There are still a ton of people (non-basketball fans) who have no idea who/what LeBron James is

I remember watching a interview of Phil Jackson one time and the interviewer asked which one of his dynasty teams impacted the world the most, his 90's bulls or early 00's Lakers. He said hands down it was the Bulls. He talked about how one summer after the championship he was touring China. And he was up in some mountain far far way from civilization and he came across some monks in a village and some of them had Bulls hats on and they knew who he was. Even though they didn't have TVs and little electricity the villagers knew about MJ and the Bulls

KDs 2016 WCF games 5-7 shooting stats:

Game 5: 12-31 from the floor, 3-11 3pt, 13-13 FT, 40pts

Game 6: 10-31 from the floor, 1-8 3pt, 8-10 FT, 29pts

Game 7: 10-19 from the floor, 3-7 3pt, 4-4 FT, 27pts

32-81 from the floor, so he averaged 39.5% from the field in 3 closeout games

:lol at the idea of sacrificing victories in order to "get other people involved" he had the advantage of draymond guarding him with five fouls, up by two with less than a minute left in regulation but he wants to get kyle korver "involved" when he is ice cold off the bench. Yeah okay.

stop it bruh...by other people, you mean just giving the ball to kyrie in the second half and letting him dance to the paint?

:lol "involved"

KDs 2017 Finals games 1-4 shooting stats:

Game 1: 14-26 from the floor, 3-6 from three, 38 points

Game 2: 13-22 from the floor, 4-8 from three, 33 points

Game 3: 10-18 from the floor, 4-7 from three, 31 points

Game 4:  9-22 from the floor, 2-9 from three, 35 points

Right now he is shooting 54% from the field and 38% from three.

Pulling his closeout stats from last year is incredibly misleading because it discounts 2 things.  One, how much better the Warriors are on D than the Cavs, and two, the impact that Steph and Klay have on spacing and lack of double teams.

hmm so out of LeBron, KD, and Curry, only one hasn't blown a 3-1 lead.

It takes mental toughness. Maybe not everyone has it?

Out of all three of them Lebron is also the only one to be swept in the finals and is well below .500 in the finals.  Not sure of your point.  Are you saying because they came back once from being down 3-1, they will every time?

I wouldnt use stats from last year to argue that KD is gonna be a no show in games 5 (thru 7 if necessay). There are numerous reasons for why that's a terribly poor comparison when you consider the following:

-OKC is a completely different team than this current GSW roster (he can pick and choose his shots and gets far more open looks)
-He's not being defended by Iggy/Draymond and instead now it's Jefferson with bron here and there. He been Easy Money Sniper in the first four games

There's no reason to think there's gonna be a big difference the next game

anyone in denial that regardless of shots falling or not, the refs calls influence the game, needs to stop lending opinions here :lol

Isn't KD 0.0 in the finals?
