Yup. Team with more points wins not the team with more blocks. It's not rocket sciencenever, its all about flashy moves, dropping buckets , shooting free throws and looking cool while doing it . nothing else matters.
Yeah when has good defense ever won anything?
I would take PG over Kawhi at this point.Kawhi is much more than "a hair" better than Paul George..
Come on man, KL isn't better offensively than Paul George.Right. Kawhi is better on both ends of the floor.
Basically.
I would take PG over Kawhi at this point.
I feel like if they switched teams we would be viewing KL in a totally different light.
Let's see how great KL is, especially on defense when he's tasked with much more responsibility to cover for the inevitable ineptness that a Aldridge / Gasol / Lee frontcourt would provide.
A ton of KL's 3's were assisted last year and he still takes a ton of midrange jumpers.
they are the same to me . both have suspect / basic handles and look and move really stiff.

Well, it's tough. Context matters and their roles are completely different. How are we defining this, though?
They aren't the same though.

. they remind of the same player just kawhi is a better defender . ill take kawhi but its close.
i think they have the same type skillset offensively even if they roles are completely different.
They aren't the same though.
Their roles for the Pacers and Spurs are COMPLETELY different.
Or it could be because he's never been that type of player since San Diego St.The points assisted on stats are coming as if it's somehow Kawhi Leonards fault his coach doesn't run iso iso iso all day long.
But they don't.
i think they have the same type skillset offensively even if they roles are completely different.
Agreed.
Especially when the gap between players' abilities on one side of the ball is significantly greater than the gap on the other side.
Like Kawhi is good and all but when people start trying to tell me he's in the same realm as Bron or KD...I'm just not buying it.
I would take PG over Kawhi at this point.
Exactly.
Or it could be because he's never been that type of player since San Diego St.
You're right in saying that PG's creating skills are nothing to right home about, but he's still much better than KL at it.I think dudes overrate Paul George's creating skills a bit. 4.1ast to 3.3topg is not good. He looks smoother than Kawhi as a creator, but he's not that much better or effective.
Also, he can fall in love and settle with the 3 ball at times. That's due to his inability to get to his spots in the midrange, or the cup.
I also think Kawhi is a clearly better individual defender.
Kawhi Leonard has made substantial improvement in that space and Paul George is kind of over rated in that regard also. He's not getting whatever he wants all the time and leans on a bunch of bad long twos a lot and the three top and he's not an elite three point shooter by any means. The points assisted on stats are coming as if it's somehow Kawhi Leonards fault his coach doesn't run iso iso iso all day long.
Or it could be because he's never been that type of player since San Diego St.

I'll allow itGiannis coming for both kiwi and PG anyways
he had a bad series. It happens. One bad series doesn't define his career or make him overrated. We saw this in the playoffs. It was getting ugly for the shy guy. Those per 36 weren't holding water when he actually had to play 36 minutes
