Sorry, man.
BTW what do you want to see Ainge do with #3? Draft Bender, Murray, Dunn, etc? Flip it for...? I'm envious of the C's situation.
How is the Rose move so bad when he has one year left on his deal?
If it doesn't work out, it's not like you just mortgaged the teams future in giving up Jerian grant and robin Lopez.
I'm still mind ****** by the deal so I'm trying to absorb and project it out, but my instant running thoughts are D-Rose won't work in NY because low risk/high reward never works out for the Knicks.
If he replicates what he did this past season, my fear is that's just enough to justify the trade, and then they'll turn around and sign him to a max in 2017.
Any worse than the 66 games or w/e he played with mediocre production and it's clearly a failure. At least his contract would be off the books though.
My belief is he's damaged goods and will never be fully healthy again. Weak *** Knicks medical/training staff are gonna be overwhelmed next season.
Although I do think RoLo eventually needed to be moved to free up KP @ the 5 and Mel @ 4, RoLo & his deal looks more valuable by the day. Could they have done better for him had they waited a few weeks?
At least Calderon's bum *** is gone and they gave up no 1st round picks. Jerian Grant is a career back up.
...
If they freeing up cap space and the 5 spot to pick up that ho *** **** boy Dwight, I'm done.
Keep your expectations low, that way you won't get disappointed. I see you.
Part of me is saying the Knicks have a black cloud over them and Rose will play 30 games max. Another part of me is saying something has to eventually go right for them.
