all of them don't deserve the max. Matthews pre-achilles still isn't a max player. But those guys didn't get the max. Maybe Jackson? But the rest didn't. Kanter, maybe? I always thought max for $20M per plus.

Just responding to the link that was posted about Horford, Conley, and Batum getting max. Batum didn't belong in that sentence

This is ludicrous.

All of those guys got max deals. All becaue it wasn't max in the amount of the years doesn't mean it wasn't the maximum amount they could receive based on the years they got. All of those deals were either the max or extremely close to the max (maybe $1-2M off). Some of them were just 3 year or 4-year deals.

All he needs to do is stay ducked off in MoCo...and let Tony handle the leeches.

He could be in a situation where he has young talent on contract....and a straight path to the ECF for a couple years. Things break right....you find yourself in the finals.

DC, staying in OKC or NY are the obvious choices to me.
