6 BB's in 2 2/3. That last change-up was a beaut though.

Get in a groove, be a machine, I don't know...

Giancarlo Stanton absolutely just destroyed a baseball. Nats offense is pathetic.

they were talking about his release point earlier. couldnt hear cause i was at the gym, but they were comparing release point and arm angle to last year. looked lower than normal. sounds fixable, unless it's an injury or nagging issue.

Probably all mental. The hope is he doesn't go down the Ankiel, Willis route...Horrible. :{

I don't think it's that bad yet, though.

ah so you're saying he might be the next CF for us, eh? i'll allow it :lol

nah i agree. don't think it's that far down the ankiel path yet, but man if he starts throwing balls behind batters or 4 feet over their heads, it's a wrap :lol

actually happened to that dude daniel bard for us. was supposed to be the heir to papelbon...but he lost it mentally.

Or because he's not doctoring the baseball... Totally serious.

Also those split screen angles ESPN shows are ao stupid. One instance doesn't mean a players mechanics have changed. Also a slightly different angle can make things look different.

:lol

needs to stop yelling about a call on 2-0 and just start ******* hitting the ball

It's almost as if that 2012 team has come back from the dead after they win the World Series. I don't know how to feel about this.

Dear Giancarlo "Mike" Stanton,

As a fan of baseball, I would like to thank you for continuing to deliver balls with your bat so hard/far, the opposite direction of the pitcher's intention, that all I can do is nod in adoration.

The "post" steroid era of baseball is not only appreciative of players of your caliber and strength, but dependent on it. We as fans hope that your current team, the Miami Marlins, become contenders fast or trades you to a team that is; preferably one with an awesome/classic team uniform that isn't a rival team of the one(s) I root for.

Sincerely,

Fan Who Only Sees a Quarter of His Favorite Teams' Games Because of Lucrative Cable Contracts
