I need info on John Jaso ASAP.
...after further review, I am largely indifferent.

I heard he would play for Mexico.
I am really disappointed we gave up on Cole already but both reports I read said the A's did well in the trade. We desperately needed help at catcher but I felt Cole was a high price to pay for Jaso. I can't really doubt Beane after the moves he made last year so I'll reserve judgement till later in the season.
It's a move made to compete now, which we haven't been accustomed to. It was a good trade for us.

Agreed. When I first heard of the trade I was like but it has grown on me. At some point you got to give up on prospects to try to win now, glad they are doing that. But Jaso can't hit lefties at all :x. We'll see how him and Norris split time. I am very concerned about throwing runners out also, both of them are horrible at that.
Knowing that a team gave a relief pitcher the same kind of money as the Indians gave him, I will just a little bit more.
Yeah enjoy wasting that money on him for a below .500 squad, while Soriano will be helping the Nats make a World Series push.
Eh, won't even be the best pitcher on the team Gio needs to start throwing more strikes, when he's out of the zone it's a struggle watching his starts.my boy gio gonna be the best pitcher in the NL this year
That WBC usa roster is horrible
