I have been saying this! Andrew Susac is ready. Buster Posey was GASSED during the playoffs. When you compare Buster's statistics when he is catching to his statistics when he is playing first base, they are not even close. I know he wants to be a catcher forever, but at some point he has to think about the future. His career will be extended if he changes positions.

Why not third base though? He was an above average shortstop in college. He clearly has the arm for the position. He picks balls in the dirt like an infielder when catching anyways, so you know he has it in him.

I don't know what his playing weight was back in FSU, but he seems really bottom heavy now after a number of long seasons catching.
To me, he just doesn't seem to have that quick first step ability that I'd want from a third basemen. Pablo, even with his weight, moves much better than Buster.
Jumpman, you want to teach Belt to throw with his right before moving him to third?

Hoping we would get Headley in the 4 year 50-55 range. I'll post something about it. I think a lot of you have issues with "value" and why some if these guys are getting the deals they are getting.
Then again someone did say they didn't think Stanton was worth the $$$ cause his BA wasn't that great..
