Maybe. But it's NY not some lame city somewhere. Whoever comes in has the luxury of not needing to carry the team with Melo there. They'll get paid and could make more money off the court here than anywhere else but LA. We'll have potentially a top 3 pick. There's a few decent role players that will still be here. I think we'll be ok. i really wanna move Calderon and JR and free up some extra money.

I'd honestly rather rebuild with patience. Only FA that matters this offseason is Gasol, and I doubt he's going anywhere.

I trust Phil until I'm given reason not to. Unless we get Marc, I'd rather keep sucking, trying to stock up on promising talent that can play within Phil's vision, and make plays at only the right free agents. Not just anyone who's available. Look where a lack of patience has gotten this franchise. I mean even with the 2010 plan, yea we had patience to wait for it, but when the time came we wound up giving injury prone Amare a ridiculous contract, and trading away everything for Melo when all parties should have just waited another half of a season.
