2015 NY Knicks offseason thread, Los Almighty appreciation thread

Orlando can always mach our offer to T. Harris, if we even made an offer

Steve Lavin has done well, no?

He's done well getting attention of recruits all things considered , but not coaching.

If I had a chance to go to any school I wanted to, St. John's wouldn't be in my top 10 regardless of anything. The only draw would be playing at MSG sometimes.

Damn, the Big East being demolished doesnt help.

****, when I was a kid I wanted to go to St. John's to play ball.

Light skin girls are the most insecure ones out there though. They fall in that "fake bad b****" group.

It bothered me a lot that JaKarr left but I understand why 100%. Hopefully we sign Briscoe, would be nice.

That was upsetting, imo.

It's one thing that Harkless left (he was A LOT better than Jakarr)... but I feel like Jakarr just rushed to get himself outta there. And hone his skills on a bad team, as well as get that check before his window closed.

Also, seems like every year when we get somebody. There's some sort of eligibility issue, from Marco... to Orlando... to anyone. Non stop headaches.
Is that the kid from Newark?
Yea, we're in his final 3 choices. He makes his decision tomorrow.

All my guys left so I couldn't get any insider insight, but from what I read in the paper it seemed like JaKarr felt like he hit his ceiling under Lavin since Steve had him playing the 4 and he needed to be a 3 in order to succeed at the next level.

Lavin's a nice dude but he isn't the most helpful. A lot of my guys were bothered by that going from Norm who would take a bullet for you and going to Lavin who would just say hello to you and not much else.

I never worked under Lavin didn't wanna spend my senior year committed to that schedule (they changed practice to early in the morning, things got more demanding) so I don't know firsthand how he was. Was always nice though in a conversational way.

I've got nothing but good things to say about Dunlap though. Dude is a little nutty, but he's a genius.

Dub tonight.

Tobias is a beast. Would love him on this team. I hope Jr opts out, though I'm attached, it's meant to happen.

Love already said he's considering opting out for lakers. I mean, that was the rumor

I'll take any all star. We need another all star.

I played pick up ball with Mo Harkless in the Lefrak park under the bridge dozens of times. Dude used to be so average, then got this crazy growth spurt. Next thing you know he's the best player on Forest Hills. Props to him though because many didnt think he'd get good that fast. Great kid though, not one of the goons.
