Just talked to source on Paul Chryst, poised to be #Badgers coach: I felt this was the scenario from Day 1. (more)

But this year, does an Oregon team that lost at home to Arizona deserve a bye ahead of an undefeated FSU team? TCU was ranked 3rd with 1 loss. What if they'd gone undefeated? Would you reward a 12-0 TCU with another bye ahead of a team that was also undefeated but won an additional conference championship game?

In theory a national champion could play 14 games while their opponent is in their 16th.
barring a crazy schedule I dont give a tcu a bye until they get s conference title game ...but good point , its an imperfect system with the 6 .

Im back on team 4 :lol

nope 6 can work

its simple just schedule tougher games year in and out period

I like that FSU went out and put Bama and Ole Miss on they future schedule and Oregon was in talks with Texas A&M and Georgia

we dont what teams will be dominate years ahead but you can make a good guess

Surprised none of the OSU fans mentioned the unis going back to the classic sleeve stripes

Multiple sources tell AuburnUndercover that Will Muschamp has emerged as a candidate for the Houston job.

Considering the job only opened three days ago, the Cougars are likely still in the process of vetting candidates. Houston has a history of hiring offensive-minded coaches and most assumed they would follow the same path this time around.

It appears Houston is at least intrigued by Mushcamp. Having coached at Texas, he has recruiting ties in the state and is certainly the biggest name the program could land.

There are also rumors Muschamp might entertain NFL offers, though most sources believe he'd prefer to stay in college. The Saints will likely be be looking for a new defensive coordinator. Former Muschamp associates Dan Quinn and Adam Gase are widely expected to land NFL jobs as well.

TheBigSpur.com reported Wednesday night that Muschamp has not ruled out South Carolina. The Gamecocks have offered him, in essence a “promise” to succeed Steve Spurrier as head coach. Sources tell TheBigSpur that, within the past 48 hours, they feel more confident about their chances.

AuburnUndercover continues to believe that Muschamp will most likely end up at Auburn, though we continue to stress nothing is done. We reported Wednesday that Gus Malzahn has a backup plan and that he will likely move on quickly if Muschamp declines. Memphis defensive coordinator Barry Odom and UAB head coach Bill Clark are high on that list, but they are not alone.
perfect for Muschamp. no big expectations but the first time he wins 10 and  finishes the season ranked, the big boys will come calling again.

they'll always be an argument for the first two out.
Fields to Make NCAA Return?
As a true freshman in 2012, Devonte Fields, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end was selected as the Big 12 defensive player of the year.

But after some setbacks off of the field Fields and the Horned Frogs parted ways and he has found his home at Trinity Valley, where he helped lead the Cardinals to an undefeated record and an overall No. 2 ranking.

It is obvious that Fields is a true difference maker. A program changing type of talent.

It has been speculated that Fields could be heading to the NFL. But after Saturday's 27-24 win over Coffeyville in the Heart of Texas Bowl, sources close to Fields explained that he has his eyes on making a return to college.

Schools mentioned as possible destinations are LouisvilleEast Carolina  and Ole Miss.

In 2014, Fields is credited with 61 tackles, 6.5 sacks, six tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and seven tipped passes.

What the hell is up with these guys beating their wives/GFs?

1. It's something that should not happen.
2. It's a great way to ruin your career.
