Then you add another debate the media will smother everybody with in regard to the two byes you'd need with six.

The media gets up in arms with a 68 team tourney...that wont ever end anyways

8 is perfect. Give power 5 conference champs automatic bid with top two having byes. Two at large bids and one bid for the highest ranked non power 5 conference.

Kansas State needs to do something on this drive or that's it.

Automatic bid for P5 conf. champs seems like trouble. A down year for one of the conferences might dagger that.

Well if you don't reward them for something it really dilutes the regular season even more. If they aren't good they'll get smashed anyway.

I just hope Ohio State doesn't get in. The Big 10 stinks, and they have the worst loss of the group to VT.

I think if FSU loses it should be Baylor, TCU, Bama, Oregon

It would have worked perfectly this year. Bama and Oregon get byes. OSU, FSU, TCU/BAYLOR get the other bids. Boise gets the non power 5 and it's either Miss St. or Mich St. for the other at large bid. Every conference needs to either play a championship game or at least declare one. Not this Big 12 co-champ nonsense.
