In regards to the Ags I think it's important that Sumlin doesn't let Saturday's result define his tenure there. 77-0 defined Fran's & the 2nd half meltdowns in 2011 defined Sherman's.

While it's easy to throw the issues at the defensive side of the ball & Snyder I def do think it's also a Sumlin issue. They gotta right that ship on both sides of the ball.

Dyer/Parker + Thursday night + Home dog + Halloween + 3 extra days to prepare (an already very good defense) = Interesting game next Thursday in Louisville

idk FSU has a bye I think they will be ready

but that thursday night is always a gauntlet

Cody Kessler's having a better season.

1884 yards passing, 18 TDs, 1 int.

In fact... people talking about Rakeem Cato and Bryce Petty putting up video game numbers, Cody's got better stats than both of them.

Better than Jameis too. Only Mariota's putting up better QB numbers as far as I can tell.

Let's be real here. The best group quarterbacks reside in the Pac-12 and I don't think it's even that close. Not to say there aren't great quarterbacks elsewhere (Boykin, Cook, Knight, etc.), but collectively, no conference has the talent that the Pac has when it comes to QB play.

How would you rank the QB's in the Pac XII?

At the moment, probably as such:

1. Mariota
2. Kessler
3. Hundley
4. Goff
5. Bercivici/Kelly
6. Solomon
7. Halliday
8. Mannion
9. Miles
10. Liufau
11. Hogan
12. Wilson/Thompson

Seriously though, 2-8 changes every week.

f WM and the rest are fired, we will lose most of this recruiting class.

Of the prospects 11 committed now...

-Jerome Baker likely goes to OSU.
-Adonis Thomas likely to UGA or Bama.
-Derrick Dillon seems solid.
-Late in the cycle for QB to flip, I would think Sheriron Jones is firm.
-Tyler Jordan is solid.
-Not sure who would take Andrew Ivie & Camrin Knight. Nothing comparable to UF.
-Similar with Kalif Jackson. Duke told him no, and he came to FNL hoping for an offer because he really wasn't hearing from many at the end of summer. Seems firm as well
-George Brown's other option is UK.
-Brandon Sandifer could only commit to UF of the schools in his final three.
-Mike Horton sounds firm and only school of his final 6 that might be in the mix for another OG is Tennessee.

To be blunt, not much of the current class has many viable options outside of UF.

The worry is the uncommitted prospects for the most part.

UF's recruiting class, yuck

Yea, worst part for them is losing Cowart and Cece, who were virtual locks before.

Adonis Thomas seemed like a player too.

JJ Consentino. Jimbo has been dead set on making sure he doesn't burn his red shirt this year. Fisher is really high on this kid.

Can't blame Jameis for wanting to bounce, this last year has been a nightmare in terms of PR for him and the university has offered next to zero support for him. I'd get out too.

For the record, regarding Lendale getting kicked out (I'm just now reading back all the pages I missed over the weekend) he wasn't kicked out of the game.

After the game he tried to enter the locker room without a pass (he only had a sideline pass) and wasn't given entry. Sark had saw him and everything seemed fine so the Trojans coaches didn't even realize he'd been escorted out. Apparently security did it by themselves and he blamed Haden for it, maybe for not intervening in his defense?

I wouldn't be surprised if his anti-Wilcox tweets from the week played a part though.

Jameis was never staying to begin with, imo

Consentino came in super raw, wouldn't be surprised to see Sean Maguire start next year (depending on Consentino's development)

I agree dre. I am just hoping that JJ's development through the rest of this season and the off season allows him to compete/win the starting job. Just seems there is more upside to JJ than Sean.

Just looked at the box score for the FL/Mizz game. Didn't know that was possible. Muschamp may be coaching high school next year. It'd be best if he just took a year off.

No doubt about that.

Next years schedule is dookie so maybe he just goes with the young kid w/ upside

It was the derpfest of all derpfests :lol

Too many stupid articles floating around about the SEC today. Saw one that said they'll get 3 teams in and FSU will be the fourth. Of those 4 top teams in the SEC West, there have to be at least 4 more losses taken somewhere. But some stupid people who claim to watch/love college football fly off the handle cause they can't do the math. If yall run across some, be sure to pass on the word that things will work themselves out. The most that will get in is 2 SEC teams and I think that's completely fair if things go right for certain teams (they probably won't).

People actually thought Jameis was coming back? Consentino is supposed to be really raw and after the Clemson game I don't trust Maguire.

He'll go to A&M and be their D-coordinator.
