It's funny to watch how much the consensus narratives of players fluctuate on NT.

Kyrie scores 55

"Lol who said dame was better than Kyrie"

Dame score 51

"Lol who said Kyrie was better than Dame"

AD drags the Pelicans into the playoffs

"Best player in the NBA"

Pelicans miss the playoffs

"AD is overrated"

:rollin

this was EXACTLY what I was going to say. but you put it perfectly. Now if Kyrie has a great game next week and Dame goes 2 for 10, every opinion changes.

NT minus whale have created the term "prisoners of the moment." But Dame > Kyrie any day

I don't even recall Dame ever being mentioned with Kyrie before RoOk made the comparison a few posts ago.

Kyrie sucks, has always sucked. Look for my opinion on him in past discussions.

Dame Dolla droppin dimes from coast to coast

Like it's all made up or some ****.

You either see it like everyone else or choose not to. Just because dude is misused or whatever in Houston, it doesn't mean you gotta pretend he ain't a certified **** boy.

Here's former NBA player Delonte West -- looking worse for wear out in Houston earlier this week.

It's actually a sad story ... the person who shot the photo is a huge basketball fan and said they noticed the former 1st round draft pick wandering around outside of a Jack in the Box around 10 PM all by himself with no shoes.

When the fan approached him and asked, "Are you Delonte West?" -- he replied, "I used to be but I'm not about that life anymore."

We tried contacting West to find out if he's okay -- and even reached out to his old agent -- but we couldn't get in touch with him.

The heck happened to Parker. After having tearing his ACL he went from Carmelo light to a young Amare with a jumper. How does that happen?

These kids nowadays are physical beast and injuries dont even damper some athletes anymore. I still dont know how Adrian Peterson and a lot of dudes come back stronger than ever the season after a big time injury.

this is true. That's why I asked the question of who was better. Everyone was down on Dame last year. This year everyone loves him.

Always been a fan but he looks a lot better this year.

Do the Wizards have a chance to win the division (not that it matters)? I think yes, there's a definite chance based on the current makeup. They're 13 to 1 on 5D right now. 4.5 games out...

It's called hypetrain :) remember Magic Johnson or Steve Kerr stepped on Lebron after the heat lost to the mavs in 2011 finals? After Lebron won the chip with the heat in 2012 and 2013, magic, Barkley, Riley treated Lebron like being even better than Jordan. After Lebron and the heat lost it to the Spurs in 2014 people were laughing at lebron again.

Dame is better than Kyrie this season, but up until this point the difference between the two had been meh, and I would have leaned towards Kyrie being better. I love both though.

Kyrie is 3 years younger and was shooting 42% from 3 at 22 years old last season. He was shooting 40% from deep at 19 and 20 years old. (Pre lebron)

He's injury prone, sure. But he was like 21, 22 when Lebron came to town. Hardly enough time to say the verdict was out on not being able to build a competitive team around Kyrie the way Portland is right now with Dame.

A Kyrie of three years ago wasn't able to carry a team to the playoffs by himself, and I think it's safe to say a Dame of three years ago wouldn't have been able to do that either (and by carry I mean be the No. 1 option on a team). I would like to see the effects of swapping the two right now to see the impact.
