Not saying they don't have a place in the league, but given how the game is played now, I think its going to be long time before we see a traditional back-to-the-basket big be the centerpiece of a championship team. I think it'll take someone coming a long that can dominate on prime Shaq level for that to happen again.

Jah is more comparable to Boogie. And he's already better at everything except rebounding than boogie was at the same stage.

The thing is, nobody really new Porzingis was DAY 1 ready. I won't fault the Lakers or Sixers for passing on him at the time.
If Jah turns out to be a healthy Brook or Al, is that a bad thing? The Lakers are going to be a lottery team for a least the next 2 years, if one of those picks turned into a Brook/Al that's a win IMO.

Man, I just don't know....plus Anderson is a FA at the end of the year, so I'd be scared at what the Wizards would do to retain him. Especially with Ernie still calling the shots (for now).
Anderson would fill a huge void as the team desperately needs a stretch 4.
Porter has been solid this year, but I guess they'd be counting on Alan Anderson to step in at the 3 to fill the void. Oubre has a higher upside than Porter, IMO, but he's still VERY raw and at least 2 seasons away from being a solid starter/contributor.
I guess I'm 60/40 in favor of the deal.

Was mad at first knicks aint get a top 3 pick and also mad at the kp pick but it ended up working out. still could of got that #1 pick if we didnt go on a winning streak the last 2 weeks of the season smh

If I'm Washington, I'd try to offer Obrue before Porter .. A lineup of Gortat-Anderson-Porter-Beal-Wall sounds good, when healthy.

In a vacuum, it's a good return. But in the Lakers POV at the time, Russell made more sense than Okafor.
