No, those who pick Kyrie > Wall for international ball value his ability as a shooter more so than whatever Wall can do.Kyrie is chosen based off the only two things he does better if you believe he's more deserving. Scoring and ball handling. Those who would take Irving believe those 2 skills > everything else a player can do. Like I said in my first statement.
Wall is the more complete player, but he isn't the better offensive player in this setting. You don't need Wall's defense here. You don't "need" KL's defense here.
They can construct a beyond elite defense without "two way" players. There's no outstanding need for great individual defenders in this setting
