2014 NFL Draft Thread

Now to hope Gabe Jackson falls to us in the 3rd or we trade back in for Ealy or Jernigan.

I know guys, Oakland has a history of building up their QB's. He'll shine, sure.

So the fact that the organization is completely different from when Al Davis ran it means nothing? You're smarter than that, CP.

I pretty much said that verbatim too a few posts before you :lol

Lol I didn't catch it, this thread moving fast. My bad.

Funny, the Browns have new ownership, you guys go right on along with the same type of statements I made about the Raiders.

But that's different, right?

Just want to remind people that Lee's fall in the draft was very similar to Keenan Allen's.

slow 40 time they said.
knee issues they said.
Red flags they said.

Jags got a great value on him.

Seattle keeps trading down, wonder what they are stacking up???

they probably wanted lee

Thinking the same. Their guys probably keep getting pull out from under them.

Essentially, Schneider saying that the meat of their draft board hits in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, and they have a big group of players to choose from there with similar grades. This gives them flexibility to trade back and still pick up highly-rated players for their team. As Schneider relates,

Keenan Allen needs to stop wearing them baggy *** shirts under his jersey

was hoping we could snag lee :{

After thinking about it for Seattle, I think staying away from Lee is probably best. They already have injury prone Sidney and Percy at WR...Not to say Lee will be plagued by injury all his career, but Seattle needs a big bodied, durable WR.

They've already turned som UFA into studs, I'm sur they're not worried about the big names.

On word? I made similar statements? Because I could of sworn I was telling @Animal Thug his team had a great first round just a few hours ago.

Hmm. Ok.

That's not a dismissal of what we're saying though. Straw man argument. You're saying Oakland can't develop QBs because it never has. You bringing up what other people are saying to troll Cleveland doesn't make you right.

And for the record I think Cleveland has done well in the draft for the most part.

Ah...Yeah, makes sense. Their circumstances afford them not to be desperate, so they can take their time in getting the right value. Stockpile picks in the meanttime for future leverage. Doing it right.

Yeah I mean I actually like Lee, but he's exactly the kind of WR we don't need.  All of our guys are undersized.  We need a big body.

I hope they go O-line this round...  Maybe even with both picks.

I didn't say I was right. But until I see it happen, I don't care who owns who. They don't get picks right usually, and I doubt it starts with Carr. If you chose Luck, then I would rethink my stance. Carr, not Luck.

As long as the rest of the Texans picks are solid, I don't even care what school or whatever their drafted, as long as Ryan Mallett nor Matt Mygroin aren't on the final 53 man roster.
