2014 NFL Draft Thread

Manziel could work in Chip Kelly's system

why wouldn't chip go with MM8, who he KNOWS can run his system? if MM8 tightens up the accuracy, that's the guy i'd want if i was chip.
I think we know that if given the choice Chip will take the guy he know (Mariotta) over Manziel...im just saying that Manziel is the kind of QB that will still work in that system

EASILY my favorite prospect this year. I have pics of him where he is already engaged with his blocker, and the other 7-8 lineman are still in 3 point stances. He is a flat out joke off the snap. STUPID fast.

I too am looking for his cut up vs Miami, I spent the whole day drooling over how good he was and he was playing against my team.

Somehow, he's ranked only in the mid 20's right now. I expect that to change rather quickly.

Word coming out that he may have torn his ACL :{

2nd tear, no?

Muschamp is downplayin it sayin that he "tweaked" the knee and would be out for today.

And it's the opposite knee of the one he had repaired in 2011, so that's at least one positive.

I'm praying the HGH they inject him with is fast acting.

Different era's but this seem's like the pro comparison that fits for Manziel.

Juice Howard from Bama will be one of the best in two years.

Needs work on his blocking.

We need one BADLY.

Ebron from UNC looked good when I saw him this past weekend.

Who are the best tight ends that'll be coming out?
ASJ from UW, Lyerla from Oregon, Ebron from UNC and Amaro from TT are probably the top 4 that stand out right now.

As of right now TE is one of the strongest position groups in the 2014 Draft IMO.

the Steelers need a TE bad.  With all their protection problems, some 2 TE sets might help alot, especially on 3rd downs

the panthers literally have drafted a franchise player at the position in their last 3 years

anyone think they continue the trend?

none where guaranteed sure things either , star lotulelei is a wrecking machine

and luke kuechly has been silly as well , cam's arm talent has been in rare form this year

they might be another first round hit away from being SERIOUS

if they bust a vikings and put all their chips in the first round basket and can come up

with bradley roby and sammy watkins , they can be legit superbowl contenders in 2015

Dude. They still need a completely new secondary, still don't have anything besides Steve Smith at WR and their RB's aren't worth a damn anymore and are overpaid.

Their front 7 might be the best in the league when healthy but don't let that blowout against the Giants crappy offensive line fool you into thinking they're about to be a Super Bowl contender.

Reaaally hope they don't get Watkins or Lee though. Wouldn't be looking forward to that.

thats what im saying , make the draft about skill positions and see if you can hit

hasnt been this much reciever/tight end / corner talent in the first two round in years....its all they need

even then melvin white and robert lester havent had bad years
