2014 NFL Draft Thread

Rams take Mariota and Seastrunk.

Greatest Show on Turf 2.0

However, I had that with STL pickin mid first. If both are top 10, I don't think they take Strunk that early, no need there value wise.

That would mean that the Rams have the #1 pick then. :eek

The Rams struck gold when they sold that #2 pick. Absolute gold.

^ would they give up on bradford?

i assume they would go clowney at 1.. maybe a WR with their pick (evans? he would pair well with austin)

TRADE IT!!!!!

They don't need more DLine, they "could" go with Bridgewater.......hmmmm

ORRRRRR

They drop down a couple slots and add even MORE picks. They'd still have a shot at another QB (Mariota etc) and yet another pick they could use either Oline, or RB, or more depth in the secondary, LBer, etc. Then whatever they haul in from the #1.

Although, Bridgewater would be interesting, still another pick to play with......Iono, for me, if I could drop down 3-4 spots and sell for say, a #2 this year, and another 1-2 future first rounders, and maybe a mid round pick, that's a lot of picks/youth/depth that can be acquired, and CHEAPLY. Then you spend a few bucks on the remaining holes and backfill with future picks, they could be awesomely fast and deep pretty quick.

RG3 pulled a premium trade package, I would assume the #1 this year with Clowney and Bridge would fetch a similar package. Doing that back to back would keep the Rams in control of the draft board (along with Cleveland this year) for a steady while, even accidentally they would improve even if they missed on half the picks, still improving quickly.

I think Bradford is gone regardless. He costs 67 million with his old grandfather contract.

New QB's sign for 24 million and below. The #1 pick gets 24, anything lower gets you into 21-20 range. Even if Bradford plays well this year, I think they clip him. And I think them seein Kap and Wilson make them look for a QB that can run and throw, especially on that turf.

yea, trade it is probably their best bet..

was thinking, would they surprise everyone and go with mathews.. but trading back is their best bet, especially with the clowney/bridgewater sure to drive the price up (would cleveland trade there 2 firsts to secure bridgewater?!)

what is the most amount of first round picks a single team has had in 1 draft?

“@MichaelDavSmith: Rams have their own first-round pick and Washington's first round pick next year. That could be two in the Top 10.”

Trade for AD! They have no running back.

Rams also have the hardest schedule this.

I hope Bradford gets out of St. Louis. So much talent yet 3 different OCs in 3 years, 3 new Head Coaches and crappy WRs. He's proven to be a solid QB only thing is his contract is expensive. With this QB crop I can see Rams taking a QB in 3rd or 4th rounds and develop down the line.

He is 8th in the league in Yards after Peyton passes him tonight and he is T-4 in TDs. Someone would trade for him.

Maybe Vikings, Arizona, Tampa or Tennessee want him.

I know the Jets had 4 #1's the Pennington year, that's the most I know of.

Way to early for Lache.

Rams could have traded one of their picks for Trent...

Once the Rams beat the Niners this week, everyone going to call for Kaeps had and want a new Qb over there

hasnt he been paid most of his contract through bonus's?

9 do his year

12 next

14 last year of the contract

if its bridgewater they should pull the trigger

Let's be honest here...the ******** aren't going to be the worst team in the league this year so let's throw the #1 pick and Bridgewater out of the scenario. I could see it being somewhere between the 7th and 10th picks though.

anyone have thoughts on tyler lockett from ksu?

Has a great family lineage. This is the first year he's had a real passer getting the ball to him. He's putting up the numbers so far. We will see if it continues versus better competition. He's a great return man too.

He's talkin about the Skins getting the #1 pick, which belongs to the Rams, and them taking Bridgewater.
