September and October are 2 different animals.
You better off in September, when you get into October it could either be mild or it can be into the 30s/40s.
September is guaranteed warm. Some Octobers are in the 80s and some are in the 40s

May is better.. Feels like Heaven on Earth. But I'm also Upstate, which is always 10 degrees difference from the City.
Never liked dude.
I wasn't able to catch Jeter's presser live. Anywhere I can see a replay?
When Ichiro Suzuki speaks to American media, he uses a translator. But he doesn’t really need one.
This morning, Ichiro was asked how he felt this offseason when the Yankees signed two high-profile free agents, essentially forcing Ichiro into a backup role. Ichiro’s translator, Allen Turner, was relaying Ichiro’s answer — “My reaction was, kind of like…” — when Ichiro chimed in with one word of perfect English.
“Oops!”
It was Ichiro’s funny way of handling a situation that can’t be very comfortable for him. This is his 14th Major League season, and he was a Japanese star long before that. Now it seems likely that he’ll be a fifth outfielder, used mostly for pinch running and late-inning defense.
“This is a place where the greatest players gather and play, so I’m really excited to play with those guys,” Ichiro said. “Obviously with the additions, I’m going to have to find a place for myself, but I worked hard this offseason. I worked on a lot of things, and throughout spring training, hopefully those things will come together and we’ll see where it goes from there.”
Did he think about the possibility of being traded?
“When you’re here with the Yankees, you tend to think about those things,” he said. “You just never know with the great players coming here. I thought about a lot of things, which a lot of players do.”
So, would he rather play for a team with more guaranteed playing time? Ichiro answered quickly in Japanese, and he was laughing as he spoke. When Allen translated, we understood why.
“(I’m) not going to fall for questions like that,” he said.
Replay at 7 tonight on YES.
I guess this is where all of CC's weight went toAfter drug ban, once-touted Montero now too plump
PEORIA, Ariz. — Potential has given way to desperation. In the end, Jesus Montero has only himself to blame.
At the age of 24, Montero could be out of the Mariners’ plans by the end of spring training. He’s already out of the catching game. A bad knee and bad technique have forced the Mariners to move him to first base. He’s coming off an incredibly poor year, after disappointing on the field, then being implicated in the Biogenesis scandal and earning a suspension. Now he has come to camp overweight.
That’s pretty much the Triple Crown of disappointment. Dealt for Michael Pineda, it’s a trade that has been bad for both the Mariners and Yankees.
“I played winter ball in Venezuela, my knee was good, I played a lot of first base,’’ Montero told The Post Monday. He apologized for his suspension.
“It was a bad experience, but I learned a lot,’’ said Montero, who underwent surgery on his left knee last June. “I learned to be mature, prepare better to play baseball every single day. It was hard, but now it’s in the past.’’
First he has to get into shape.
Because of the knee injury, Montero said he was not able to work out as often as needed and sat around and did too much eating. Many people can relate, but that is not a good situation for a major league player. The Mariners have Justin Smoak, Logan Morrison and Corey Hart, who can all play first. Montero hit only .208 in 29 games for the Mariners last season, a year he began as their starting catcher.
New hitting coach Howard Johnson is hoping for the best for Montero.
“He’s ready to work, I have nothing but good things to say about him,’’ Johnson said. “He had a bad year last year, but his knee blew up and he had that surgery. I think it will help him not having to go back behind the plate.’’
“I have to move forward, I have to play harder,’’ Montero said.
Honest words that he must act upon now to regain control of his once promising career that has turned to disappointment.
I always assumed that when you got off peds you'd get smaller. Look at Bonds and McGwire they both got small. But I guess you could blow up like Roger Clemens. If A-Rod blows up like that then he won't make it through spring training without screwing up his hip or knee.
I get that he ate but if he played winter ball in Venezuela like he said then how did he blow up? I've never seen a player get bigger during a baseball season.
