Me and my boy were rapping and I said,

"What if Lebron went overseas to a 750,000million, that could change the landspace of the sport world"

All othe players would have to follow.

NBA Most Global Game ever

i mean whos gonna offer him that money? :lol

doubt lebron would do it regarless, he wants to play in the best league in the world

Yikes. I don't remember this. :x

Now they'll be on the hook for $15M extra total from their extension offer. :lol

It's not a huge deal but saving almost $4M per year could've helped out in other areas. ****** couldn't have offered to meet in the middle? Dumb on their part to hold firm when you're that close and player gains leverage by waiting.

this is an important point, which is one of the few smart things bryan colangelo said.

never let your young assets reach restricted free agency, even if it means overpaying in the short term.

most likely because of their age

a. they improve and you en up with bargains, see Demar Derozan/Amir Johnson
b. they don't really improve but because of their young age and perceived portential you can still trade them see Bargnani.

Everyone's getting paid
This kid can ball real good fundamentals.. He makes correct plays nothing flashy but gets points on the board. I like the kid

The Jazz could have kept Hayward off the open market had they negotiated a contract extension with the versatile swingman back in October, but talks broke down with Hayward reportedly seeking a four-year contract valued at $13 million annually and Utah reportedly holding firm at $12 million annually.

Gordon Heyward out here getting $63 m's and theres people that want the likes of Carmelo Anthony to take less money. makes ZERO sense.

This is reason why most teams don't have money to go after stars because overpay for players like Heyward

I'd rather have Gordon on my team than Carmelo Anthony.

Melo will never be a winner on the pro level. He sell fish

Its kind of a catch 22. If UTAH doesn't overpay Hayward @ 63 mil, then they have nobody.  Even if they did offer Melo the deal he got from NY, he'd never go for it.

You have to build through the draft, and keep those players through FA because they WANT to be a part of something you and them have built.

They should have signed Hayward in October like dude above pointed out, they didn't and now they are paying dearly

one reason why hayward got the max is because michael jordan got tired of seeing this

LOL he doesn't really shoot like this right? Cant be. How?!? His eyes are telling me he's shooting straight ahead but his arms are telling me he's shooting directly to the right.

Its like one of those optical illusions.

Is it a young lady or a witch?

Is MKG shooting straight ahead or is he shooting directly to the right ?

Heyward will never get your team close to a championship as 1st option or 2nd option

He's a 3rd option type of guy

Can anyone answer this for me.

What would stop LeBron (or Melo) from continuing to take their time with their decisions? Like another two weeks?

They pretty much have all the leverage could literally sign whenever they please and wait it out, right?

Why they are in no rush. It only makes sense to wait.

They care nothing about speeding up this process to make new topics on ESPN and NT

they could. or one could argue they would want to sign as soon as possible so the teams they sign to can go ahead and tinker the rosters to their liking, before the other FAs are all signed

i'll bet you 100 US dollars right now, that gordon hayward in the next 3 years does not average 25 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists for a whole season.

Let's do this.

If Gordon Hayward avgs 25.5.5 you buy me Bred 1s size 11.5, DS.

Deal?

And if he doesn't then I'll give you the $100

Gordon Hayward is the big winner here: $63 million over 4 years, 15% trade kicker and player option after year four? He owes Michael Jordan.

Gordon Hayward as a 2nd or 3rd option is good for 17 5 & 5 on GOOD percentages once his usage rate goes down.

Good defensive potential too, and a good athlete. The media will use code words and tell you he's a "sneaky" athlete though.

One of my favorite players. Always root for him. I'm about as black as can be...but I always root for White wings.
