you'd have to semi gut the bench to get parsons in the first place.

Marion and Carter, maybe Blair ... but Parsons makes Marion disposable and Carter can *****.. Ledo and Harris can get his minutes

Blair would be the only sacrifice I wouldn't like... aside from that the bench is good to go... if Blair bounced Sarge would have to get his **** together

Broussard should take notes 8o

When it comes to offering a deal to a player who can be matched can that team then make a bigger offer (if possible) and see if that gets matched too? 8o

no

once a offer sheet is signed, the team can match and they get the player for the amount they signed for.

player cant go and renegotiate a higher deal with another team after
Okay so it's one shot make your best offer the first time thing.

I didn't mean from the player's side though. So not renegotiate. I just meant like what if they didn't offer him the most they could and then said **** it lets offer him 90 mil instead of 60.

Didn't Gordon Hayward average 15, 5 and 5 on a Utah Jazz team that missed the playoffs. Let that dude walk man, if he wasn't that "white token" in a Mormon state, It'd be more along the lines of what Frye got, as far as contracts go.

OKC and Portland has the NW division on lock so UTAH will be hard pressed to hit the playoffs anytime soon.

I don't get this MAX deal, if someone matches and forces them to overpay even more, it's their fault.

yes, thats why RFA who get offers from other teams need to offer inflated offers in hopes that the incumbent team doesn't match

I smell another lockout coming :lol all these crazy contracts

hey maybe if they let him walk they can find a way to grab Jimmer from the depths of the Chicago bench. Then the Mormons would surely be happy

Who's getting this Kevin Love guy?

I can't believe teams are letting Lebron and Melo and Bosh get in the way of signing him away.

Lakers should just pull the trigger and sign him.
There sure hasn't been much Love talk in the last couple weeks.  All kinds of trades and signings are gonna go down after Melo and LeBron drama is over.  They got the league held hostage
Crazy to me. Lakers would be better off with him next to Jabari and Kobe and money to spare. Straight up.

Make that move

Jordan is a legit lunatic

he dresses like an *******, signs the the worst players in league history, yet keeps doing it cz ain't nobody there to slap the **** out of him...

RT @WojYahooNBA: Jazz prepared for possibility of max sheet for Hayward and remain unwavering about revelation it's coming: They plan to match and keep him.

make that move with what exactly lol..

Love isn't a FA and the Wolves ain't gonna just give him away in a rape trade

I think he's really just stubborn in letting somebody take control of the team and make it successful. He could've been the one to sign Phil awhile ago.

Welp, aint like he gonna run out of money any time soon.

If you believe that Gordon Hayward is going to improve.

which is easy to believe barbecue he's entering the historical prime years for an NBA player.

-The cap will go up.
-his max isn't as big as other max

I think its easy to imagine a future where this deal doesn't look so bad.

The hysteria over who is and isn't a max player is really excessive and kind of dumb given that true "max" players I worth way way more than the max contract.

He got unlimited income. Gordon Hayward contract is not even 1/16 of how much money Jordan made off shoes this year.

As you continue to buy Jordans +200 above retail.

Survey saysssssssssssssss

X

I don't own a single pair of Jordan's and haven't bought a Nike shoe period in over 2 years.. I dont think I've ever even posted in a NT Jordan thread

so yeah.... you shot an airball on that one bruh

Money and draft picks. Hell sign one of thes FA's and trade them. The possibilities are there

And whoever that Swagger guy is, he's worth something I heard

also just the general difficulty of acquiring talent in the NBA and the relatively the short lengths of the new cba "max" deals makes this an easy match for the Jazz.

What else are they going to spend this money on exactly Lebron James?

I don't mind the contract at all. I think he's going to make the leap to borderline stardom. He showed flashes last year, his number one issue being consistency, and playing for a team that isn't a dumpster fire is sure to help.
