Have you ever even seen McGrady play?

I did and he sucked *** on defense.

Helluva scorer and when he wanted to be a helluva distributor

But atlas he wasnt better than kobe

I dont tmac ever cared about winning. He seemed like a relaxed player with no urgency to win wherever he went.

The injury bug got him quite a bit too and his shooting percentage was atrocious in the later years of his career

Lol at picking McGrady over Kobe.

I attribute that to either drunk posting and/or posting off emotion.

Someone post that quarter yearly tmac 13 points in 30 seconds thread already. It will be 10 years in a few months.

Kobe won the NBA lottery; Mac & AI didn't.

PERIOD.

Man, GIVE Iverson Phil & Shaq & Horry, AND THEN Phil & Pau & Lamar! LIGHTS... OOUUUUTTT. I'm talking, CURTAINS.

Same w/ Tracy.

Kobe was drafted by a franchise that knew how to make winning moves (we don't know what we're doing right NOW, but we did back THEN), and neither Tracy nor AI ever had that.

Tracy, 2nd round virgin? And that's exactly how we'd be talking about Kobe right now if he stayed w/ the Hornets.

Eh I think Kobe would've been able to beat the 00 76ers or 01 heat, or even the 02 magic. All teams the hornets eliminated from the playoffs aside from the 00 76ers.

From 00-04 kobe wasnt the clear cut #1 sg

Thats it, yes hes had a better career than tmac, but t mac was exposed to alot more early in their careers, his game was more mature from 00-04, he had to be a leader by default because g hill was suffering from the foot issues, kobe didnt know what being a leader was until shaq left & we seen orl tmac on the west coast in 05-07, but from 00-04 tmac had the edge, kobe was just in a better situation (shaq&phil) that hid his flaws as a player

He didn't?

My man. Good post bro.

How is T-Mac a 2nd round virgin when he went to the finials with the Spurs?

Because he wasn't a factor.

Yup.

People don't think things through sometimes. Some players just get put in better situations. If Bron never left Cleveland we'd be saying the same thing.

In other words Klay is nothing close to being better than harden.

Harden can facilitate and create anywhere on the court, get to the rim and great at drawing fouls. Klay doesn't have the handles James has.

His defense is superior to James though. But whose isn't?

AI and TMac were killers. Injuries messed up tmac career. He was just starting out. Him and Yao could never get a rhythm due to injuries.

AI was great. At his size his ability to score from anywhere on anyone was incredible. I seriously doubt the people who say he was overrated never seen him play. If AI trash than Kobe trash too.

TMac and Kobe were neck and neck in the SG pos. both can drop 40 any night and was unstoppable.

Somebody needs to line out this whole post.

And who said VC>TMac? I'm putting you on my prayer request list when I go back to church.

T-Mac was right up there with Kobe, maybe even better than Bean for a season or two. McGrady was a special talent. Dude played so effortlessly.

Here's a better question: is Gary Payton hands down the coolest guy to ever play the game of basketball?
