Official numbers on Ryan Kelly's new deal with Lakers: $1,650,000 in 2014-15, $1,724,250 in 2015-16

I like those numbers for Kelly Kellz

Now time to let it rain from 3. In urine format like a real Kelly would

I know are team is gonna suck this year and that's good for us long-term but I'm actually gonna like our team this year from a fans perspective.

-I want to see if Kobe can come back and prove to everybody he will finish his career on his terms
-I'm a fan of X
-Want to see the development of our rookies (Clarkson, Randle) also our 2nd year player RKellz
-I know Ed Davis, Sacre, & Hill will play their butts off every minute their out there. Actually the whole damn team will play their guts out no matter what. They proved that last year. Showed great pride.

I will be cheering for this squad for those reasons. It prob won't lead to wins (which I hate) but I'll watch every game this season just like last year.

I'm thinking with no major injuries to the roster, in the western conference we get 35-37 wins this year.

Can't see anything lower unless injuries come into play or Kobe somehow plays like he did last season then that'll prob be +10 wins. Not likely tho.

I knew after that 1st game we weren't beating DET and things would never be the same, they were just a better team and the alpha battle was too much to overcome, we really should have been swept.

Kobe, Hill (Team Option), Young, Randle, Davis (Player Option), Sacre, Clarkson + 3 cap holds gives us anywhere between $17.948 and $18.1mil in cap space in 2015

I don't think Hill gets his option picked up, and Davis probably shouldn't accept his player option. That would put us at $27.035mil in cap space in 2015.

With that 27 in cap space you throw the max to Gasol and close shop

I'd go Dragic too.

And on the outside chance, I'd try to go after Gasol & Rondo, unload Nick Young somewhere else, if you need to throw in the Rockets pick, and make the attempt with $32mil. I think those guys may get slightly less than max deals, despite being max players. If you hit the homerun, you have 3 starters going into 2016 (Rondo, Gasol, Randle), $35mil in cap space.

Love Marc.

It would take a lot to pry him from Memphis though. Probably be impossible really.

Never know. Marc might wanna follow the footsteps of his older brother.

And Dragic will be a lot easier to go for because he will be unrestricted. I just don't know about throwing the max at him.

I wasn't implying max for Dragic. I was saying in addition to Gasol. $9-11mil or so.

So Melo ain't worth the max cuz he old , Bledsoe is injury prone so nobody wanna pay him either but we ready to give Marc Gasol the max :{

Going by most logic in here he's not worth it because he's Old AND injury prone :{, that's what I mean when I say the people who say these things go back n forth just to suit their argument.

This from ESPN who is national media so it must have some validity to it right :

Worst investment of 2013-14
Marc Gasol, C, Memphis Grizzlies
$11.58 per player rater point

Now, this really isn't fair, as Gasol dealt with an injury that forced him to miss nearly 20 games. And you should also factor in that injuries kept Gasol from performing at peak capacity for another 20 games. But the stats still count, and by season's end, he'll have played in nearly 70 percent of possible games played.

And, you should have known he ran a fair chance of getting injured.

What? Gasol played 80 games in 2012-13. You were safe drafting him, right?

Wrong. Gasol is an every-other-season player, as in every other season he misses 10-15 games due to one injury or another. If you followed that pattern, you knew 2013-14 had a good chance of being the "other" season. That's why I didn't have Gasol on any of my teams this season.

I'm starting to see it basically boils down to who personally likes a player and who doesn't, then dudes just build an argument based on not liking a certain player and go from there. Don't front, just say you don't like a guy instead of pulling reasons outta the sky only to neglect them when It comes to another player that you're a fan of.....it's very transparent.

Just keep Marc away from burgers and he'll be fine. Dude should age more gracefully than Pau. Dare I say, Duncan-like (well poorman's version).
