2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Oh, you mean old money. Inherited and passed down generations.

No wonder Johnny has such a free wheeling attitude and mindset. Little accountability. Grew up privileged without a care or worry. Silver spoon lifestyle.

Which specific players are you guys tracking in the Bama/A&M game?

Outside of the obvious Manziel, Yeldon, etc.
HaHa Clinton-Dix.

Bammy: Derrick Henry/Chris Black/OJ Howard/ Reuben Foster

aTm: JaQuay Williams.

Early 2000's, does 2008 count as "early 2000's"?

700

Seriously, would be happy for you guys but you guys keep ******** the bed on the national stage. :{
True on the LSU game that was a damn near home game for the Tigers though. Black Mamba also had a few fumbles that led to LSU scores but that National Title game against Auburn was the best anyone in the nation has come close to defeating the SEC in the past 10 years. I rather have Oregon than Ohio State in the Nat'l title game.

Wouldn't you agree the Buckeyes have a better defense than the Ducks?

Crucial to limiting McCarron and Yeldon.

Grandparents and great Grandparents have oil money/mafia money.

Dad now owns a car dealership, mom is a realtor.

I don't think we've seen enough of the Bucks' defense to completely come to this conclusion.

Buffalo and SDSU both blow.

Spence, Washingtion and Grant haven't quite lived up to the billing yet. Plus the middle of their D-Line looks very weak for their standards.

I do like that defensive backfield a lot.

Goff should give them their best test yet, through the air.

I'd like to see a decisive statement victory for the Buckeyes against Cal. Something like 34-17 would satisfy my expectations for a title run.

If Braxton is playing and relatively healthy, I'd say that score (34-17) is too close (from tOSU's perspective). They should beat them by more than that (if they truly think they belong in the MNC).

Guyton's no pushover, though.

Oregon beat  slaughtered a good Virginia team (coming off beating BYU) 59-10 all the way across the country.

If the Buckeyes want to truly impress and gain some national respect back, they need to put up 40+ and dominate on D.

Cal is a step up from Buffalo and SDSU, but they're still gonna be bottom feeders in the PAC this year.

Mettenberger inspires no fear. RB trio is legit.

Playmakers? Beckham and Landry are good, not great.

The defense? Still very good, but not as intimidating as previous years.

I think they lose to Bama and A&M back to back.

Florida and Georgia will be close. Les escapes the Gators, but not Richt's boys. Murray over Mettenberger as the primary difference maker.

Playmakers are that RB Trio + Landry / OBJ , lol

Aside from perhaps ole miss who has a better WR combo in the SEC?

If this passing game is real & not just a facade then LSU is definitely more than what you're giving then credit for

could you see florida state upsetting clemson?

I could see it, of course. FSU hasn't won in Death Valley in 12 years however. All depends on the Defense

Bama: Cooper, Norwood, C. Jones.

Kenny Bell's departure hurts my case. But Cooper is better than every single one of LSU's receivers, IMO.

What's good with Chris Black.

I seriously can't drink for a while. Need a break after chugging Smirnoff and bourbon in Hoboken to pregame the bars.

Worst executive decision I've made in recent months.

Brought me back to freshman year of college.

Hosts were economic, on a budget. I mean, I wanted to complain but stopped myself once the two girls living there made buffalo chicken for the pregame.
