If D-Wade doesnt opt out, that just puts Bron in a compromising position. For that guy to think hes worth that money where it could be used to get better players on the roster is just a slap in the face.

There's gonna be at least one GM that would trade for D-Will. Right before the deadline, the Rockets wanted to trade Lin and Asik for him according to reports.

If im the Pistons. I ship out Jennings and Smith for him.

Dwill,_____,_______, Monroe, and Drummond

salaries match up, dont see how Nets would say no. Id def take him in Detroit with Arnie Kander who can help his ankle and being coached by SVG. hes got 2 studs down low. Maybe we might get some shooters and someone in the draft. I like this team depending on who we get a whole lot better than the trash we had this past season

It's going to be interesting to see what Pat comes up with because the bench needs an upgrade and I don't really see the same type of role players in free agency.

After what I seen at the end of his career in Utah and so far what he did with the Nets, I wouldn't want D Will on my squad. He can't stay healthy or lead a team, he would be a perfect second stream point guard. Is he even a Top 5 guard in the league now?

LeBron, Wade and Bosh would be best served to not opt out this summer.
Really? Why do you think that? I think at the very least Wade should and then sign back for less, unless that is somehow no longer allowed. I checked a while back and couldnt find anything that said it is no longer allowed.

But yeah I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Keep your garbage fire in Detroit where it belongs.

youre telling me Nets dont get better? Pistons really dont honestly.

Jennings, Johnson, Pierce?, Smith, and Lopez?

ight :lol is that team not better than what they had on the floor this year. Healthy Lopez, a PF in Smith that can actually play and defend. You got Plumlee off the bench.

In LeBron's case, I think it will be best because he'll get to see how Riley will re-tool the roster since Battier is retiring and they could lose Allen and Chalmers. I'm sure LeBron trusts Riley, but re-signing for five years might be too much and there's no where else to really go (even though he's pretty much a walking Conference Finalist at this point). So opt in for next year and see where Riley is going to do moving forward.

Yes I'm dying for Jennings and Smith to clank 3s all year,

It does it for me.

Smith would be at PF now... didnt everyone on here say he would be shooting less at that position? since he was forced to play SF majority of the time in Det

I don't know if I read somewhere Monroe won't be resigned this off season or SVG doesn't want him.

Hes meeting with him. He wants to keep him if they can find a way to make Smith, Monroe, and Drummond efficient together.

I really am wanting to know what they do, cause besides Battier, Chalmers, and Allen, Beasley, Oden, Lewis, and Jones would also be free agents. Their role player situation could be really good depending on who they bring in, or regress even more.

My brother and I had this discussion yesterday, he should opt out and just sign for 4. Same idea you're saying though so I get it. But what about Wade? Surely LeBron wouldnt be ok with him getting all the money

Don't give a damn about Wade. :lol He probably is better off opting in, but maybe Riley will give him a Godfather deal.

LeBron going to have to do even heavier lifting next season than this past season. :x

It's all about what free agents wanna take paycuts after another hopeful championship run for Miami.

I think players like a Mo Williams, Vince Carter, Thabo Sefolosha and Emeka Okafor are cheap old guy possibilities. That combined with the Heat actually having a 1st and 2nd round pick that hopefully turn into some youth they can use sparingly along with James Ennis coming from back overseas will probably be enough for Lebron to opt-in which will start the domino effect.
