Lakers signed Yeezus?

And where does Klay Thompson rank amongst the young SGs?
He's interesting to me. Obviously a great three point shooter and underrated defender, but everything else about his game is kind of mediocre. And not that 23 is old, but compared to Beal (20), he has probably leveled to his ceiling.

I think Klay is wildly underrated. He's developing his post game and is becoming a better slasher. Add to that he can play off the ball like a traditional 2

Klay Thompson > Bradley Beal

They aren't that different. They are very similar, and IMO are kind of getting overrated.

Neither of those guys can put it on the deck and create for themselves that well, and neither gets to the free throw line that well either. They are mostly spot up guys with one or two dribble moves, and that's it. Neither are really good creators with the ball either, that is they aren't making plays for themselves or others that often. They are on the receiving end of the play most of the time.

Klay is an okay defender, but neither are noteworthy on that side of the ball to me. I think the ceiling on both of these guys are 15-17 PPG unless they start to develop other facets of their game and play in the paint more.

It's hard to 'rank' all of these guys now because they're so young.

Most NBA scouts, talent evaluators, etc seem to be of the opinion that Beal is the best SG prospect in the league. Prospect is different from saying who is better right this second, obviously a guy like Klay Thompson has playoff experience and has been in the league longer.

But when you talk about a prospect, you look at the fact that Beal finished 3rd in ROY voting at age 19. I didn't really follow Thompson but I'm pretty sure Waiters wasn't even starting at Syracuse at age 19.

Beal is younger than McLemore too, btw. He has an extremely advanced game for his age, that's why he projects so highly.

He's hooping tonight like his old self damn I miss the PointGod :smokin

Klay is legit off the dribble, he was getting his in the playoffs, one of the best shooters in the league, i'll take klay over JR, monta,OJ,jamal

Too much talent on his team for him to put up the amount of shots he needs to get that recognition

I disagree, I think all of those guys are better than Klay and are all better shot creators and better off the bounce.

I would love to see Klay's %age when he has to take more than 2 dribbles to get his shot off.

From watching him play, he's a great catch and shoot guy but anytime he has to put the ball on the floor he struggles with his shot IMO
