exactly.....because they can't jump. They have to have a different arsenal than a jumpshot and dunking.

but like out of everyone that's athletic and plays basketball there should be at least one guy who says "hey maybe i should work on post moves ill be the best player ever"

said dwight howard never.
Ya'll need to stop hating on Dwight.  Dude averages 20pts, 14rbs, 3blocks in the playoffs on 60% shooting.  As a defensive anchor.

He's carried his team deep before.

You're all so obsessed with "skillsets" instead of results and production.  Reason you hype up Carmelo Anthony who couldn't sniff Dwight's wins or playoff effectiveness because of his "skillset" like this is  NBA 2K.

I do.  He's also just a great go-to example for the kind of loser NT loves though.

8 years ago it would have been Marbury, who some people here still think "got done wrong" and "proved everyone wrong in China"

Guys are fundamentally sound, it's just they aren't as good as the centers if the 90s.

It's a different era

1 Finals appearance is results now? Tim and Dirk would beg to differ, skills are paramount once that athleticism goes.

Also the rules are really stacked against big men these days on both offense and defense.

Isaiah Thomas made that point after the Bad Boys doc the other night and I really agree with him.
