He does, look at those guys % assisted offense. They missed last night, 3 of 9 combined. And most of Westbrook's shots come after the offense fails to materialize and he's left standing there dribbling in one spot waiting for KD to get a better "post up" position at the 3pt line or come off those pin downs. Once that fails and there's 3-4 seconds left, what else can he do but go 1 on 1? Maybe Ibaka could have gotten more shots, but again Memphis is keying in on the Big 3 and nobody else is really able to make much of a play. Thabo's release takes like 7 seconds to get it off. You don't want him trying to do more than hit kickout corner 3s. Perkins has the worst hands in the NBA, teams leave him open on purpose. That lineup plays way too many minutes, then the only other players who played beyond the aforementioned dinosaurs were Reggie Jackson (0 for 5) and Nick Collison (1 for 2)

Talk that Talk one time.

Brooklyn's starters will be fresh, I expect the Nets to close out this game.

wait so mj/lebron/wade/kobe/tmac/iverson/drexler/bird have always found a way to get the ball when needed, but we are just going to assume its impossible for kd to actually get open and blame westbrook for not passing to the other bums on the team?

Ibaka scores like >70% assisted fgs, almost all of his baskets are created by Westbrook and KD, usually those mid range jumpers off pocket passes (he pops not rolls)

Then it comes down to brooks. He needs to run sets to get the ball in there hands where they can create.

Everybodys talking about how Westbrook was this and that and KD was this and that, CMON MAN, how about give credit to how good Memphis was last night on both ends.
i could shut kd down if he would just stand still with his arms down watching westbrook do work

That was a blatant foul on Lowry. Way worse than the strip Williams had on him the play before.

It isn't brooks man, he draws up the play for Durant to get the ball. Durant just can't hold position and as a result is getting denied and pushed so far out that the play is completely blown up

clean strip -> whistle

foul going for strip -> no whistle

gotta love NBA refs :lol

R U kidding me? MJ and KOBE will get that ball doesn't matter who's guarding them. Put the whole team to guard them and they'll still take that last shot
exactly.

on that westbrook miss and perk putback kd was playing hot potato with the ball not even looking at the basket
