In the heat of the moment, yall REALLY think that Blake Griffin was cognizant of where his water was going? If any of your guys played sports, there are moments that you are so keyed in that you can't focus on ANYTHING outside of the game you're playing. Fans aren't there...no crowd noise...nothing. Just completely focused on the task at hand.

Can't belive some of you all are coming up w/ scenarios talking about "uhhh...what if the fan threw the water at him?" **** happens. You're sitting in the first couple of rows, there's a good chance someone may fall on you, you might hear things you don't want to, catch a ball, etc. Goes w/ the territory.
Nah, man. First off, he wasn't actually PLAYING. I'd buy what you're selling if he were in the middle of a play. He wasn't, though.

and yes, there are plenty of sports fans who have never played sports, and plenty of us who live, eat, and breath sports. those of us in that second group know full well that when the play is over, whether you're on the sidelines for driving home, you're outside of that 'in the zone' mentality.

But, Ska...there are PLENTY of people who play sports who don't have an "off" switch even when there is a break in the play. You can read testimonials of football players who would get themselves worked up to the point of tears BEFORE the games even started. It's not as simple (for some) as having an on/off switch. Some guys are just wired differently.

tbh the whole 'if any of you guys played sports' line doesn't have much to do with what Blake did.

it was a general comment...pretty much saying that on teams that people have played on, guys are wired completely differently. When games were over for me, I was able to leave the good/bad at the field. However, I had teammates who would take that **** home with them and it would pretty much dictate how their night went.

Back to basketball...PLEASE. There were some damn good games yesterday.

Cmon maaaan. :lol

The water fell out AND HE THREW THE CUP IN HIS DIRECTION. Whens the last time you saw an NBA player throw garbage into the crowd? :lol

I think its funny and I'm happy he did it.

look bare minimum, the throwing the cup part was calculated, but how fortuitous the water landed directly on a warriors fan.

Takeaways from yesterday's games:

Cp3 not that nice
Paul George not that nice, and the pacers as a whole not that nice they looked lost and had no ball movement
Hawks want to make this a series
OKC has the green light
Pit bull likes saying playoffs

Cp3 outplayed curry though :lol

Man that fan will be fine, crying over spilled water.
and what woulda happened if that fan threw water at Blake?

8o

tell me bruh, what would have happened?
Mmmmmaaaaannnnn, Blake would have... FLIPPED! :lol Nothing like Ron Artest, because Blake's an actor, but MANY feels would have been had. :lol
It would have been classic if dude was drinking water before then and sprayed it out to Blake immediately afterwards. :lol

Take aways from yesterday's games:

A high volume of us overreact to one game

28 years ago today, Michael Jordan scored 63 Pts vs. Celtics in '86 NBA Playoffs, impressing even Larry Bird.

But, dude, he tilted his hand back so obviously. :lol Like, if he wasn't aware of his surroundings and he was just throwing his hands up in disgust, why would he intentionally tilt his cup backwards? :lol

I mean, none of us were in his head, but the kind of player he is on the court (which we see all the time), and how deliberate the movements were... :lol

Excited to see my Wizards play tonight

I think people are severely underestimating the fact that the Heat finished the season just as bad as the Pacers.

Not sure if trolling or srs.

What's trollish about that......

I haven't been in here much if people had been talking about it previously. All I've seen is people still predicting the Heat to sweep the Bobcats and go to the Finals against OKC or the Spurs.
