That's the thing, CP3 isn't the Clippers best player. It's Blake

All of the criticizing of players depends on who the media likes or not. It's definitely not even all around, but that's how they've always worked.

I.e. the guy in the 'Bad Boys' documentary saying how Magic would get praised for playing hard if he comitted hard fouls while Isiah was made out to look dirty.

i.e:

Blake Griffin 19 techs this season (3 rescinded) = All-Star, MVP candidate, it's because People are "bullying" him

Kevin Durant 16 techs = League MVP

DeMarcus Cousins 16 techs = Childish, bad guy, punk

This. KD got the "nice guy" reputation throughout his career so nobody notices the 16 t's. Cousins got the "attitude problem/bad locker room guy" reputation so every tech is exaggerated by the media.

I'd also love for someone to make a video compilation of all 16 techs so people can see how hilariously bad some of them were.  He earned some, absolutely,but there were definitely 5 or 6 that no other player in the league would have recieved. If players like Blake and CP3 were called for Tech's the way Cousins was they would probably end the season with 50+
