Are we going to stop being surprised when the Spurs are a top 2-3 team in the West now? It seems like every year people have them ranked as a 4 seed or lower, but they always end up in the top 2.

@ taking Steph over Russ.I love Wardell but come on, Russ can play both sides of the ball which instantly makes him more valuable.
In the coming years this might become the new Kobe/Lebron argument.

Steph is the better shooter, passer, and playmaker of the two. Russ is of course a better defender and better athlete.
But as far as defense goes, you aren't stopping any PG one on one. I'd rather have steph.

Pretty much what Do Work said. The players around the top 3 guys are horrible. They have had a huge roster turnover throughout the season, and each of the "big 3" missed at least 10 games since the trade that brought Rudy Gay here (in which they were 0-10 when Cousins didn't play). Last i looked they were right at .500 when all 3 (I. Thomas, Cousins,Gay) played. And they were 8-3 when all of them scored 20 or more in the game.

Went from shooting 26% from deep to 35% and stayed healthy the whole year.
If he keeps improving his 3 point shooting he can be top 3, once again, plays both sides of the ball.
