The Suns making the playoffs would be the better story. Who actually likes watching the Grizz play outside of people who live in Memphis? I still think the Grizz will make it over the Suns unfortunately. :{ If Phoenix makes the playoffs Hornacek is pretty much a lock to win COY. Dwayne Casey deserves a lot of votes too

I've loved that Grizz team for the last few years and Marc is one of my favorite players in the league but I really wanna see this young Suns team in the playoffs.

I doubt the Suns will upset the Spurs, but this Grizzlies team is not upsetting the Spurs.

No way, no how.

This. Spurs advancing either way. Whether it's in 4 or 5 is the question.

Mavs beat the thunder twice in the last month fwiw.

I would say worth nothing. OKC didn't have Westbrook in one of those games.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas upset in the first round against anyone though.

Some of you guys are quick to pencil teams in when in the west it'll be pretty interesting round by round.

I don't really think OKC( the players) really care how the rounds match up in the West round by round for them as long as they have a healthy Westbrook Thabo and Perk. They are determined to make it back to the Finals.

Now as an OKC fan myself, I don't like a 7 game matchup against the Mavs and I really don't want to see the Clippers...but anyone else in from the West in 7 I'm comfortable with.

Wish I had one of those remotes from the movie Click so I could fast forward to June and skip the first "2 months" of the playoffs.

Just curious, going with this train of thought how can people say that OKC has SA's number when none of our big 3 played them collectively through out the season, (may be wrong on that)? The last game we played them in we pretty much worked them the first half going up as much as 15. Second half Pop pretty much let off the gas and let the reserves get their shine.

A theory, but i think pop wanted to experiment in the first half to see if something worked. Once he saw that it did, he nixed it in the second half so it would have minimum exposure for scouting/evaluation.

On top of that, i think he didn't wanna have the burden of possibly riding a winning streak into the playoffs which was plausible at the time. Can't remember the stat but usually after a team goes on a winning streak, they have a tendency to drop 2-3 games after. In the playoffs that's all it takes.

In my mind Its the Spurs VS OKC WC finals. Like everyone has said the west will be all about match ups and their exploitation. I feel confident as a spurs fan counting on Brooks skill to exploit the mismatch

Man, I haven't read too many posts saying OKC has the Spurs' number.

I don't think anyone has anyone's number out west, with the exception of maybe saying Spurs have Grizzlies' number. You could make a case but even then it's tough.

Regular season series should barely factor into anything. Brooklyn/Miami being an example.

Damn I miss this cereal. It had the marshmallow and just perfect with milk. I use to kill this.

those were terrible

I understand if you think the Grizz can't upset the Spurs. Trust me, I don't think so either. But, why do people think the Suns have a better chance at beating them? :lol

If anything, the Grizz will at least make it more competitive even if they get swept. Last season, they were OT games in Game 2/3 and Game 4 was close. Only 1 blowout loss. And that was with a TERRIBLE offensive team and no shooters. I'm sure this team could at least make a little more competitive than the Suns.

Either way, I don't want to play the Spurs. :lol I want to play OKC.

BTW, the main reason Memphis have so much trouble with the Spurs now is because they are too stupid to NOT force feed ZBo. Pop's gameplan is built around stopping ZBo and the coaching staff has yet to figure that out.

You're right. Haven't seen it as much on NT, but theyve been making the push on ESPN/TNT in support of KD and the thunder which from a business perspective i understand wanting to yield higher rating, branding etc

But dudes who use espn as the bible that I interact have basically handed the Larry O brien over already. Probably doesnt help that i live in OKC. shout out to my dudes datznasty and iamsnekerpimp

Dallas has a better chance against sa than okc imo, i wouldnt be surprised if they lose to the grizz on wednsday to get that 8th seed if the grizz win these next 2 gms
I gotta say i disagree brother. Probably the last year that people can say this, but collectively i still think experience is a factor for the thunder. Carlisle should find some ways through out a series to cash in on this.

With the spurs? two extremely veteran teams where what ever you're going to get is tooth and nail. Plus i dont think Dallas has the stamina to run San Antonio off the 3pt for the duration of the series.

IDK, i just feel like i'd take my chances betting on Dirk/KD and Monta/Russ duking it out, then i would saying dallas is collectively good enough to beat the spurs

I'm looking for the bobcats to upset the paces if those two are matched up.

I doubt this happens, but wouldn't be surprised. Al Jefferson is reallyyyy good, and Kemba has improved as a ball player this year this year to the point where I believe he can affect a basketball game even if he isn't scoring / shooting well. Plus both al Jefferson and Kemba are clutch performers, and they sport a very underrated defense as well. Won't be easy for Indiana for sure.

Wow KD man, what a joy to watch.

I would see Gerald Henderson going off one game kind of like Ben Gordon did for the bulls. To add onto what you posted.

Hibbert looks like how Dajuan Blair should be with no acls....Hibbert be falling to the floor like he ain't got no knees.... does he know what a rebound is as well
