I think finding a Jimmy Butler type in the late first is as difficult as finding an Iguodala type for less than $13 million per. Not sure anyone in the 2013 draft fit that profile by the time they were picking. The guys that did fit that profile (Reggie Bullock, Tim Hardaway Jr., Solomon Hill) were already gone. Only dudes worth a damn in the second round so far have been Ryan Kelly, Nate Wolters and Ray McCallum. :xFinding an athletic, 6'7 do-it-all swingman like Iguodala in his prime (or just a bit past it) would be awfully difficult.
And the ones you find are awfully difficult to get for less than $13 million.
I get that but he's exiting his prime, he's 30 and his athleticism is already starting to fade, he's already not the defender or passer he was during his Philly days.
They were better off trying to get a Jimmy Butler type late in the draft than giving Iggy 13 mill per through his 30's.
