Don't even get me started about how lebron acted in the 2012 finals. He told Mario chalmers to calm himself down and not celebrate but 2 minutes later he's front and center celebrating a storm in front of the other team I understand that you're very excited but 5 minutes before the game ends? That's just straight disrespectful IMO especially right after you told chalmers to calm down

This might go down as one of the worst posts of this thread

Dirk is now 10th on the all time scoring list

My main man :hat

Not just that, but he’s having one of the best years of his career at 35.

He’s the 13th leading scorer in the NBA this season, but is far more efficient than just about all of them.

At 35, shooting 49.2%, 39.5% from three, and 90.1% from the line.

Of those other 12 scorers…

KD- 50.7%/40.4%/87.3%; 40% of his shots are in the paint. 30% inside the arc. 30% behind the arc.
Melo- 45.1%/40.4%/84.7%; 28% of his shots are in the paint. 46% are inside the arc. 24% behind the arc.
Bron- 56.8%/37.6%/74.8%; 54% of his shots are in the paint. 24% are inside the arc. 22% behind the arc.
Love- 46.1%/37.9%/81.7%; 42% of his shots are in the paint. 23% are inside the arc. 35% behind the arc.
Harden- 45.8%/36.6%/86.2%; 41% of his shots are in the paint. 18% are in the side the arc. 41% are behind the arc.
Griffin- 52.8%/27.5%/71%; 62% of his shots are in the paint. 34% are inside the arc. 4% are behind the arc.
Curry- 46.8%/41.8%/87.8%; 26% of his shots are in the paint. 29% are inside the arc. 45% are behind the arc.
LMA- 45.8%/20%/82.7%; 36% of his shots are in the paint. 63% are inside the arc. 1% are behind the arc.
DeMar- 43.1%/29.9%/82.1%; 33% of his shots are in the paint. 52% are inside the arc. 15% are behind the arc.
DeMarcus- 49.7%/0%/72.5%; 70% of his shots are in the paint. 29.5% are inside the arc. .5% are behind the arc.
Paul George- 42.5%/36.2%/86.5%; 32% of his shots are in the paint. 31% are inside the arc. 35% are behind the arc.
Al Jefferson- 50.5%/23.1%/69.1%; 60% of his shots are in the paint. 39.5% are inside the arc. .5% are behind the arc.
Dirk- 49.2%/39.5%/90.1%; 18% of his shots are in the paint. 56% are inside the arc. 26% are behind the arc.

So, five of the other guys have a better FG%, and three shoot better from beyond the arc.

Those five guys take 40%, 54%, 62%, 70%, and 60% of their shots in the paint. Dirk takes 18%, far below any other player.

The three guys that shoot better than Dirk take a ton more threes, and are about 8-9 years younger than creeky-old Dirk. :rollin

So in short, Dirk’s FG% is not flawed by easy shot attempts.

Dirk has always taken the bulk of his shots away from the basket. Starting from 98-99, here are his attempts outside of the paint, inside the arc and in parentheses, what he shot from that distance; 45% (38%), 47% (46%), 34% (45%), 38%(48%), 46%(43%), 50%(46%), 56%(42%), 49%(48%), 53%(49%), 48%(49%), 59%(47%), 62%(46), 56%(53%), 57%(46%), 60%(48%), and 56%(50%). It’s absurd the amount of mid-range shots he takes and makes.

I wish I could find how many of his shots are wide open too, because he has actually missed his fair share of wide open shots this year too. Monta and Calderon have done a great job of getting him shots, because Monta is a threat to really attack that basket (something we haven’t had since Devin Harris left), and Jose Calderon is probably the deadliest threat from deep since JET left. There’s been plenty of games this year where Dirk didn’t hit open jumpers, and had a very poor FG%. Yet despite this, he’s still an elite shooter at 35 years old.

no call is ever gonna be called with that much time left... no matter team or player...
Your correct that's why I don't understand why he wanted the call...the ref are not gonna make that call on a last sec drive to the basket...he know that just upset they lost...

Just saw the Plumlee block.

Rashard had a fairly easy layup if he would've just gone straight up with it after he got the pass

I have no clue why he chose to dribble under the rim instead :lol

Beas would've gone up with it :{ #FreeBeas
